I read this a little while ago, every seems to think it is Kurt Angle. He was the one on the video that asked how they would find out if they were ******* ************ pain medication.

Well must admit if you look at Kurt a year ago to what he looks like now he does look very ill.

This past weekend I have been watching the best of Raw DVD's and I have come up with some things that I miss on the show:

Stables: Remember all the big stables, The Ministry, The Corporate Minsitry, DX, The Nation, The Union etc.

Good title defenses on Raw: When was the last time there was a great heavyweight title match with some stipulation(cage, first *****, ladder, etc.)

Wrestlers wearing jeans: Now-a-days it seems like they all have to wear tights. It just seemed more real when guys like Stone Cold, Bart Gunn, Davey Boy Smith and so would wear just normal jeans to their matches.

The Attitude Era: Easily argued as the best the WWE had to offer.

A few other things but these were some key things I noticed. Any thoughts? Any other feelings?

I miss the stables....i miss the good ol' days with the whole attitude...the outside ring skits...llike Stone Cold visiting Vince in a hospital and beating him up...I miss DX going to WCW and messing with WCW outside the Arena...wrestlings golden era was 1997-2001...Stone Colds feud with Vince was Legendary and the **** truck Stone cold once brought in and filling Vinces car full of cement with a cement truck...alot of over the top moments...I also noticed that the storylines lasted longer than a few weeks until a paperview...before they lasted months sometimes it built up alot of tension to the bigger pay-per views...thats my :2 cents: I still watch RAW and Smackdown and almost never miss a show...havent missed many shows in the past 7-8 years but what WWE needs is a Stable VS another one...Like
DX, The Coperate Ministry, The Nation...heck even the short lived Union wasnt bad...I also noticed consisteant Tag teams are missing...No more Dudley boys VS the Hardy Boys, No more The Acolytes VS Edge and Christain real tag teams...still love wrestling its great entertainment and very interesting:thumbsup:

As I stated above and CK has I miss the big build up to a match.Another thing I miss is the outdoor events in the summer. It just made you feel like it was summer and was something special. In fact I found WCW was better at this than WWE.Something I would like to see is a feature on a old star and what happened since they retired or had to retire due to injury or age just caught up to them.
Also I'd like to see Bret Hart in a WWE ring at least once more even not wrestling. But it would be a sight to behold because lets be honest he did a lot for the WWE and Vince. The last thing I'd love to see is if heaven forbid the Undertaker retires he stay on and form a group like The Ministry he had back in the 90's.

Outside events, never really impressed me. I enjoy loudness of the arena's, but WCW did have a couple good outdoor shows.
Bret Hart...ha....he's been negotiating with TNA. IMO he just wants to avoid Vince.
Taker and the ministry.....IMO, ain't happening, any large stables will most likely not include him. He's a solo wrestler who is slowly winding down his career. In 5 years, he may be gone. Sad to think but all the reports indicate his use as almost a special wrestler. He is saved for main events and pay per views.

Yeah I did read he gets a lot of pain in his back now and refuses to take painkillers. As he wants to enjoy his **** growing up and not risk his heath for the sake of wrestling. But I think he should try acting as everytime I've seen him in anything he's been quite good if type cast a bit.

Woah, that Undertake one was a shocker. How did he win? And will this feud drag on anymore?

Also, how did Mysterio and Batista lose?

So whats up with the Friendly Tap scene?
The bar that Josh Mathews was in was The Friendly Tap which is owned by WWE referee Tim White. Tim portrayed the ***** at the bar who ****** himself. White noted during the segment: "Hell in a Cell ruined my life. I've been in pain for over two years and took it out on everyone I know. My wife left me. My friends are all gone. I got nothin'. You know what pain is? I don't think you do. I got everything there is and nothing to live for," he said. "Everything is gone. Get away from me." Josh also wished White a "very white Christmas." WWE has presented tasteless angles in the past, but this is perhaps a new low. What is Vince honestly thinking these days?

The whole thing confused me too.

the best finishing move of all time has to be brock lesnars F5 ....i really wish he would come back to the wwe

I **** to speak in these terms but, Fuck Brock. They(WWE) gave him a contract and another chance and he blew them off. His first exit was bad enough but trying to get back in the second time and then just letting it pass by:thefinger I hope that Vince can restrain and deny Brock another chance, if the occasion happens.

yeah i heard he turned down a $47million 7yr contract to go for a NFL tryout ...he did fuck that career move up but you gotta admit brock lesnar was a "franchise" type wrestler the only person he has to blame for this mess is himself

That too, but what I am mainly reffering to is after he failed at the NFL, he was offered a new contract from the WWE, and then he blew it off.

Because of being gone for so long and having not starting watching WWE until lately, just wondering what happened to all the big name superstars:

Goldberg, Rock (did he give up on wrestling to act?), Stone Cold (injured?), Dudley Boys, and some of the others......just went brain dead. Is there a site that has a list of wrestlers and what happened to them or do you just check the gossip/news columns for info as it comes?

Goldberg left after his one year WWE contract was over, didn't want to resign with them. Rock is still in Hollywood making movies. Stone Cold keeps coming back and walking out, he has't wrestled an offical match since WM 19 against the Rock. He was suppose to wrestle the coach and lose at ***** Tuesday this year but when he found out about him having to lose he walked. The Dudley Boys were off WWE tv for many months until the June 2005 the WWE/ ECW One Night Stand PPV, shorty after that show they were trying to get new contracts and then WWE decided to let them go, they currently work in TNA and Japan, they recently canceled there Japan bookings to focus more on TNA. the best site for news I find is Premium Link Upgrade

Bad notes from Armageddon

This was without a doubt one of the worst put together PPVs I've ever seen. JBL talking on the mic...a 10 minute Boogeyman segment where he beats up Santa Claus (and poor Nunzio dressed up like an elf) and for what?...a thrown together Lashley match, and a Hell in the Cell that was so small, they couldn't even do half the spots they wanted to in the ring, not to mention Batista and Mysterio not even able to get over on their own brand's PPV. Now your tag team division looks absolutely weak, not to mention your brand as a whole. When the highlight of the night is Juventud losing the strap to Kash, that's pretty sad. I told my buddy that Kash looked like a Partridge ****** member with his new locks. The amount of fluff was ridiculous and for the most part, tasteless. If WWE thinks so little of their fans, perhaps it's time for the fans to think so little of WWE. They think they can just throw a Cell match on the card and the rest will take care of itself. Absolutely horrible

EVERYONE was disappointed that the Hell in the Cell door was opened and nobody got out of the cage! Of course this match sells because there is the "possibility" of a major spot. But for WWE to show highlights of all the big spots all week long and to come through with this match was a major disappointment for the live fans. For 'Taker to climb on top of the cage AFTER the match had ended simply pissed me off and was too little too late. I understand the table, chair, and chain spots were an attempt to make the match "******" but watching 'Taker and Orton having to duck around so they wouldn't hit their heads on the top of the cell during the major spots was laughable.

The Tim White segment was the worst thing I've ever seen on WWE television...period. And that's saying a lot. My buddy and I were so disgusted with it that he grabbed his coat and wanted to leave. I said, "Hell no"...not before the cage match. It was just so tasteless on so many different levels...I can't believe, for the simple fact that they were in Providence, that they would run an angle like that. It does nothing for anyone. There's nowhere for that to go. The worst fluff in the world.

The most important note was that I was sitting in the lodge section, one section over from the entranceway. I happened to be on the end seat. During the Tim White angle, just below me, both Bruce Prichard and Kevin Dunn came out to watch it on the Jumbotron. Not sure why, but they stayed there until the whole segment was over.

Nobody in the crowd really cared what happened. During *** Kash-Juvi, the crowd was dead. No reaction to either man except near the end when both used a few high spots Even when Kash won the title there were almost no cheers at all. There were a lot of "end this match now" chants however.

2 points...

1. with the tim white angle, i now vow never to watch smackdown or a smackdown brand PPV again. this disgusted me and totally sunk WWE to a new low. come on, so many deaths and they have the balls to shoot a suicide angle, i say fuck them. they are lucky i have enjoyed wrestling for so long, or else i would not watch WWE for a very very long time after seeing something like this.

2. Is it just me, or did raw this week in afghanistan seem better without coach commentating, god i **** coach, please keep him away from the announcers table, they are fine as a duo now!
