Nikkala made me do it!
some people only watch the product of the wwe but they dont follow what happens to the wrestlers themselves...so, to put christian right into the wwe/world champ title picture, just wouldnt make sense to those fans...
I used to think that too ... until Wrestlemania 20 during the Brock Lesnar/Bill Goldberg match. The WWE didn't say a word about it being the last match in the promotion for both, but 90% of the people in the crowd knew it. So I know there's a large number of fans that DID follow what was happening off camera. Tell me it's not true five years later!

You have it backwards. It was known long before WM20 that Goldberg's last match would be there. The Lensar news didn't break until the Smackdown taping the previous Tuesday. :2 cents:

when goldberg returned, we all knew it was a matter of time he would quit...he hates the wwf/wwe, by the way...he came back for the fans, but could only do it for a year...brock in the other hand, we knew he had interest in the nfl...he stated he did...it was a matter of time...even before he came to the wwe, he tried out for a nfl team...and wanted to try again, but we all know what happened
