The Second-Hottest Man in my Mother's Basement
The doofus is back!!!

I was really expecting him to come down and say he managed to sign CM Punk to a new contract. After all, he got Sin Cara...

Did anyone hear the "L.O.D." chant during the Smackdown MIB match? It was after Sheamus and Kane did the Doomsday Device to Daniel Bryan.
Chicago recognizes their own legends (The Road Warriors/Legion of Doom)! WWE definitely picked the right city to hold this event. They remember, they respect and they show their excitement.

and at the Raw MIB match, I cringed a bit when I saw Miz's knee. Much respect to him for making the run back out to attempt the win. I was right there with the people of Chicago booing Rey Mysterio when he banged Miz's knee into the ladder. Every time Rey tried to climb back after that, the crowd booed him. You're far from home Rey. Chicago hates you. I loved it when Del Rio ripped his mask off. I was fine with him winning after that.
I have to say that I think all of the guys involved in both MIB matches did an absolutely awesome job! Very impressive. Best things I've seen from WWE in a lonnnng time.

Additionally, I just watched the end of Raw, although missed the rest of it (maybe I'll catch it on Youtube tomorrow). I saw the end where Triple H 'relieved' Vince of his duties. Vince is a great actor when he wants to be. At first I was kinda annoyed when the crowd started doing the "hey hey hey, goodbye" thing - but it seemed to stop rather quickly. Then, after HHH left and Vince was alone in the ring, the crowd started to cheer him and chant "Thank you Vince! Thank you Vince". He was very obviously moved by that, especially considering everything that happened.
I'll say it again: Chicago is one of the most respectful (yet honest) cities there is. I'm proud of that.

:facepalm:Except they weren't in Chicago tonight. Hell, they weren't even in Illinois tonight!:brick:

Yes they fucking are!!! The fucking arena is on wheels! Vince had them roll back into Chicago so he could find his phone! Shut up about it because you might scare the nice cheeseheads Jimmy!

Honestly though, I confused it because I just finished watching Money in the Bank, and then tuned in for the last 5 minutes of Raw - so I got confused. Please, please forgive me. Please.

watched the end of raw,I keep up with the storylines from this thread and you guys, but I have to say the hhh/Vince angle is lame. hhh could have gone 2ways he tells Vince with a nice Vince voice impersonation You're Fired!!
or he could have said the whole vote of no confidence line then said I'm sorry to have to say this "cena you're fired!
or bring out someone weird or different to now run the company not steph or hhh or Linda maybe drop Shane o mac back in the fold but as an absentee CEO. you fucking guys all know hhh is going to eventually insert himself into a title shot.or is he going to make the cmpunk title reign hell because of what he said in the promo that he cut on the McMahon family:facepalm:
:dunno:

You really don't wanna see it, he was like, "I love you pops, im so sorry! Boo hoo hoo," I can't believe I just saw Triple H say I love you to Vince McMahon :puke:
He never even said fired he was all professional and let him go nice and easy, both in tears and Steph in da back fingering herself while watching I bet her nipples were so hard! :D

I think the HHH angle is a pretty good move. He plays a pretty good heel character if he is going to be that sort of dickhead authoritative figure... I still wonder, where the hell is the Raw GM in all this??... I doubt WWE, themselves, even know who it is at this point.

good point on the RAW gm... where is he? oh he is sitting at the announcers booth his name is michael cole!

I have the same theory.
- And as for the whole HHH thing, if history has shown us anything about his character personality - it's all a scam. He's just playing everyone. The whole blubbery, tear-filled bit was a ruse. This can mean that either he'll turn around and admit that he wanted to kick the old man out of the way so he'd have control, or that Vince is also involved but that wouldn't make sense.

Personally though, of all the obvious possibilities, I would've hoped it would be Shane. Not Steph, because then HHH would be involved anyway. Not Linda because she was always a snore. So, unless they were to resurrect the fictional Jack Tunney, I can't think of a less  thing they could've done. Granting I just woke up a few minutes ago but I doubt that makes a difference. :drool2:

Ugh, i HATED the ending to Raw. the whole HHH/ Vinny mac thing was terrible. the crying made it worse. Actually as soon as I heard trips music, I knew this angel was shot to hell. *SIGH* they had to go & fuck up the best storyline of the yr.

I wouldn't say I hated it but they storylines are very messed up. Ok first it's CM Punk and he's gonna leave...ok he left, now what? Now let's fire John Cena, ok everyone knew that wasn't going to happen. So Triple H comes out okay cool, but wait now he's a suit and he's pretty much firing Vince?!? What happened to wrasslin the Undertaker again? Why not touch base on the CM Punk thing, we all know he really isn't gone either!

TIP: http://www.justin.tv is your friend in these situations. You can find a Raw live stream quick by just searching "WWE RAW" on the site.

Yeah that's fine for catching some highlight, but you won't find the whole show if that's what someone's looking for. I've always been able to find it at youtube. Search "wwe raw 7 18 11" (or whatever date you wanted). Just don't expect to find PPV's there except highlight reels.

I'm not quite ready to talk about Raw any further. I just watched the CM Punk/Cena MIB match again. I fucking love it! I saw a couple good signs. One that said "If CM Punk loses we riot" and another saying "If Cena wins we riot". haha
When Punk's music started, I was wondering if something was wrong with my speakers because almost all I could hear was the crowd cheering. It was really great to see him get such an ovation. He definitely deserved it. He looks cool sitting in the ring like a Buddha statue. Did you notice the part in the first minute or two of the match when the crowd does the "You can't wrestle!" chant at Cena? Punk stops, looks at the crowd, points to himself and says "Who, me?". The crowd says "NO!!". He points to Cena and the crowd shouts "Yeaaahhh!!!"
I laugh at the ending. The look on old Vince's face and just knowing how pissed off and disappointed Lawler had to be, the Cena thumper he is. That asshole was trying to make Chicago look like bad guys for backing 'the wrong guy'. He says Punk 'brainwashed these people'. - Isn't that what you do all the time Jerry and WWE? Make the people think a certain way about certain wrestlers? I wish the show went on for just one more minute though, just to see CM Punk exit the outer doors of Allstate Arena with the title, and onto Mannheim. They signed off as he was storming past the concession area and they had to keep showing Vince's defeated expression. - But hey, they had to show those Summer Slam commercials a few times.
