EXCLUSIVE: Bret Hart NOT Appearing on Raw Tomorrow
by Nick Paglino
Jan 17, 2010

After speaking with a source in WWE, I can now confirm that Bret Hart will NOT be appearing on Raw tomorrow night as originally thought. Instead, Hart will most likely make his return to Raw next week when the show is broadcast live from Columbus.

I think it's time for WWE to completely do away with the Guest Host concept.

I'd rather they get rid of Sheamus. I want to start a campaign somewhere on the internet to get older fans to go to these shows and just chant "Die Sheamus Die".

Here's what I think should happen:

  • Shawn Michaels wins the Royal Rumble, and immediately after he says he is going to face Undertaker.
  • Then, the championship matches take place, and Undertaker loses the title to Mysterio.
  • Since he is no longer fighting Taker, Shawn gives up his title shot to face Taker.
  • They hold a elimination chamber match at No Way Out (I refuse to call it Elimination Chamber), and it is won by HHH.
  • At WrestleMania, HHH faces Sheamus (I don't want him to, but sadly Vince's boner for Sheamus won't go away), and Shawn faces Taker (Hopefully Taker wins). Mysterio either faces Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship, or the two of them are in a triple threat with Batista.

Sounds good to me,,,,but I still have atough time willing myself to pay for the PPV if Shaemus is main-eventing Wrestlemania.

I mean, Shaemus...in the main-event at the biggest PPV of the year? Really???

Of course, I suppose I could pay to see a main-event title match of HHH vs....cena....no, Orton....no, wait, I've seen that already too many times. Ok, how about Orton vs. Cena. Oh! Wait, seen that too many times too....

....ugh, is there anything we haven't seen yet?!?!?!

HHH vs. Shaemus.

OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shaemus will not go any further than the push he has now. He has NO appeal or charisma and thats what Vince wants in his flagship guys.......someone he can sell to the masses and this guy has the public appeal of a fart in church!
I think he got this push cause HHH likes him and the big guys (ie:HHH, Shawn, Cena and Orton) need and want a lil break before WM. Right before and after Wrestlemania, Shaemus will be jobbing worse than Al Snow!! :1orglaugh

I think since the Rumble is the PPV and the feature match, you'll see the Rumble last, so the theory probably won't work. 'Taker losing to Rey probably won't happen either, as the title is really the last 'hook' WWE will have to make people care about 'Taker/ Shawn II (unless they want to see a heck of a wrestling match). I can't see 'Taker dropping the streak to Shawn. This is more than likely another swerve to cement Shawn as Mr. Wrestlemania...or perhaps set a "draw" where neither man can continue, and save both reps.
Sadly, the only scenario I can envision is Shawn costing 'Taker the title against that little twerp Mysterio, and that will draw 'Taker's ire, though since Shawn's already declared he'll win the title too, that also looks weak on paper. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
What I'd prefer is to see someone who needs a push (MVP, Swagger) or a dominant Rumble player like Kane win. That out of the blue surprise that keeps people guessing, even if just to have them foolishly put their shot on the line in a feud at EC and lose it.
Can I just say that I expect a stupid swerve that leads to one of the big three (Michaels, HHH or effing Cena) winning?

^ There have been a few times that the Rumble hasn't been the last match.

I haven't really minded the guest host. It wouldn't be a problem if, ugh...you might be right darkwarrior, I mean I did like Jeremy Piven, I liked Shaq, Heder & Johnson wasn't bad. I was also like the only one digging Maria and Nancy from Access Hollywood. Most of the Wrestling Guest host have been decent especially Jesse Ventura, while Bret didn't really guest host.

But you might just be right, because week after week, King & Cole act as though they're huge fans of everything these people do then they have lame skits with Santino, Chavo, Jillian (when she's there) the Bellas and Hornswo...grugh! The ones with Jericho are kinda funny.

After WM26 their should be some kind of contest to see who becomes the full time RAW GM. That should solve this issue, I think.

Batista should die. Soon.

And there are times it has. This is why terms like "think" and Probably" come into play...I guess we'll see.

Well that's why I said it's what I think should happen.

Whatever WWE does, I'm sure my idea will probably better. No good surprises nowadays.

Randy Orton Speaks Out on Alleged Assault Incident
by Nick Paglino
Jan 21, 2010

WWE star Randy Orton has posted the following on his official website:

"I walked out of Kowloon’s Friday night around 12:30-1 a.m. with Santino and a police officer escort. As I was being rudely hounded for pictures and autos (I had a 6:40 a.m. flight through Minni to Lincoln, then a drive to Omaha, a match, a drive back to Omaha, then a charter to Minni, and a driver to Rochester for the next show the next day, btw), I was confronted by an older women who said: ‘Hey Randy, you spit on my handicapped son a few years ago at a show, what do you have to say about that?’ My replay...`So Sue me.’

Then I proceeded to my car, with Santino and the cop and drove back to our hotel by the Boston airport. I know I have been a bit of a hothead in the past, but I DID NOT spit gum and call names to any child. The women is claiming I called her son a `retard’ 3 times, and spit gum in his face. Come on people, even at my worst temperament, I would never call a handicapped child something awful like that. I’ll actually sign anything for any child with any disability. I heard just today from WWE attorneys that this women filed assault charges against me 4 days later?

Hmmm, oh, and what about the dozens of cops at the restaurant that were there for crowd control since there were over 100 wrestling fans there? Not to mention the cop that escorted me to my freaking car. I’ll be happy when this is over. I guess if I’ve learned anything from this, it is not to ever challenge anyone to sue me."

Eye Witness Claims That Randy Orton Did NOT Assault A Fan
by Nick Paglino
Jan 21, 2010

Wickedlocal.com is reporting that, according to an eye witness, Randy Orton did not assault a 15 year old fan as both the fan and his mother have claimed.

Stephen Addonizio, who was sitting in his car during the incident, claims that Orton was approached by a dozen or so fans for autographs, but Orton refused the fans by simply walking past them. The 15 year old and his mother claim that Orton spat gum in the kid's face, however, according to Addonizio, "He [Orton] just kept walking past them to get into his car."

Nope, none at all. And yes your idea would be better. As would mine. Cena, HHH or Michaels win, with an outside nod to orton. The big 4, no one else.

Here's a hypothetical thought, what if Jeff Hardy showed up at the Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant? From what I understand he's technically not signed by TNA and there are reports that the WWE contacted him on Jan. 5. He's doesn't have a profile on TNA's website (neither does Shannon Moore) and he hasn't been back since Jan. 4.
