This is one of the thing wrong with the WWE now days no classic comedy moments. There been quite a few one of which I really remember was between Taker and Angle when Angle was tagging with Taker. It had me in stitches.

From Reuters/Billboard - NEW YORK (Billboard) - Peter Gabriel's "Big Time" has become the official theme of World Wrestling Entertainment's upcoming "WrestleMania 22," nearly 20 years after the song hit the top 10 in the United States. The tune is heard in TV and online spots for the annual live and pay-per-view extravaganza. The ads began airing earlier this month and will continue through April 2, when "WrestleMania 22" touches down at the Allstate Arena in Chicago.

Adult movie actress Haze is scheduled to be appearing at the Royal Rumble tonight, according to AVN.com. There has been no mention of what her role will be on tonight’s PPV.

-- Here’s an interesting trivia fact: Triple H & Stephanie’s new tour bus has marble floors with the HHH logo on it.

-- The reason that CM Punk hasn’t been brought up to the WWE main roster is that they feel he still isn’t on their level. Stephanie McMahon refers to him as “The king of the indies”, but not good enough for WWE’s main roster yet.

After reading through the spoilers, a new, rather interesting name has been thrown in to win the Rumble. This might be a shock win, or a lame attempt at a decent match. You never know

Is it worth ordering the Royal Rumble? SKY is charging £15, but I'm unsure (also ST:TNG & Event Horizon on TV now)...:dunno:

To tell you the truth, I have never ordered a WWE pay per view, so I wouldn't really know. But IMO, Royal Rumbles and Wrestlemania's are usually worth it.

I didn't see the PPV and I was wondering if The Rock made an apperance at the Royal Rumble (seeing how The Rock always makes his surprise appearances whenever the WWE comes to Miami or LA).

Saw the Rumble tonight. It was pretty good. I'm pretty pumped over rey's win...and I like Cena's win too, but I'm a little surprised about it.

No sign of The Rock though...too bad.

The music of the Undertaker then hit in the arena! Angle looked confused as the Undertaker rode a black chariot into the arena and then sauntered down the aisle! Angle held onto his World Heavyweight Title as the Undertaker motioned that he wants that title! Taker then lifted his arms and tons of pyro went off above the ring. Taker then slammed down his arms and lightening hit all of the ring posts and then the ring posts fell down and the ring collapsed with Angle in it! Holy sh##! Angle looked scared to death as the Royal Rumble went off the air!

Harley's Highlights

Mickie James. Still no F-king clue why this story line still rolls on. Give her a heel change and get the fued with Trish Going

Boogeyman and JBL. Don't waste my time.

Rey and the Rumble. Quite surprisingly Rey was the participant that I was hinting at earlier. The other expect winner was Randy Orton.

John Cena. :pukey:

Angle. No surprises. Definetly spoilers on Wrestlemania, but I won't go into detail about that.

-- Cena’s title loss is being viewed as a very unique situation. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that it looked like they took the title off of him in order to make people stop booing him.

Cena is the biggest draw and merchandise seller amongst women and ********. The company apparently thinks that turning him heel will **** off all the money they make from those two demographics. Others think that while it may hurt those demographics, it would help in the male audience and would be viewed as one of the biggest heel turns ever.

We don’t really have any news yet on the reasoning behind WWE giving back the title to Cena. It could be because they thought their plan of taking it off him wasn’t working, that they didn’t like the results they were getting from Edge, or a number of other possibilities.

Cena has been working really hard since shooting to the top of the company, spending most of his days off doing P.R. stuff. It was previously reported that while the boos from the fans had been getting to him, he didn’t let it bother him too much and accepted that they can cheer for whoever they want.

Yes must agree on that Cena is hard working. But to be honest WTF is going on with Edge. The story line they've currently got him in is just weird and to be honest boring. This guy has got the talent to work good story lines so why just the stupid one with Lita.Yeah it worked for a short time with Matt Hardy but that was it,why continue it ?

Looks like my ***** match is going to happen, if Angle ends the streak he gets my approval. I hope Taker's health is going to be sound. If it wasnt & he decided to sue, he could single handedly destroy the WW(e)

On a side note i just wanted to express my disgust at the promotion of John Cena. What a complete waste of space. You dont push someone that isnt getting accross to fans.

True, but as its mentioned in the article I posted, its all about the $$$$$$ Rather sad too:(

WWE.com's "Instant Access" now features short interviews with JBL, *** Kash and several other stars following the Royal Rumble last night. The big thing to note is that RAW's Gregory Helms, who won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship last night, will be moving to the SmackDown! brand after winning their title.

Kurt Angle's lower back and neck are in really bad shape these days. His mentality won't allow him to take it easy, especially since he has the title now.

Tatanka made a surprise appearance during the Royal Rumble match, so it looks like he is officially back on the WWE roster as he finally made a television appearance. He appeared at a few Raw brand house shows a few weeks ago. He has lost the excess weight that he had been carrying when he unexpectedly showed up on Raw back in the summer. Tatanka signed a contract with WWE a few months ago.

Tonight on RAW:
Edge vs. John Cena - WWE Title Rematch

The Big Show & Kane vs. Carlito & Chris Masters (World Tag Team Titles)

A long Triple H promo

The return of Rob Van Dam to RAW

And RUMOR has it that AJ PIERZYNSKI has been in discussions with WWE about appearing tonight. He just shot an angle with TNA several months ago.

i think kane and big show will lose the titles tonight, considering they havent really had a tag team match in a month or so, and also considering they had fought in the rumble match last night, they could very well make this into a feud between kane and big show.

just watched the Royal Rumble, didn't watch it live as i was working.
i heard last night that Rey Mysterio was rumored to win it.
from that moment i hopped it was true,
good to see a little guy win it for a change.

This is a little :2offtopic

First thanks Harley for posting the results I can't rep you it won't let me.

The reason I thank Harley is for this very reason.I don't agree in paying for PPV as I already have to paid for the sports channels it should be shown on.I personally think this is what is wrong with the TV and sports now days to much greed. If people boycotted them they'ed have to go back to the old way.

I hear people saying it's wrong they shouldn't be allowed to do it.Then they go and pay for it and don't understand it's because of them that they do.As long as people continue to pay for these, the more there going to do it.Soon everything will be PPV and then you will have to select very carefully what your going to watch.

Just my :2 cents:

Sorry to go off topic.

I hear that. Its too damn much to pay just to watch it. If I'm really that desperate to see a pay per view, I'll hit my favorite bar and catch it on the big ass projection screen with a bunch of buds and some chicken. Either that or buy it on DVD and keep it forever(or as long as the DVD works) But it is the endless groups of people who continually order pay per views which ruins it for the rest of us.

Tonight, WWE are doing a double taping Orlando, due to the SmackDown wrestlers leaving for the tour of Thailand and Japan.

On SmackDown, they are questioning which title Rey Mysterio will choose to go after at WrestleMania. What Kurt Angle will say in response to Undertaker's challenge for the World Title. For those who missed t, it has already been announced that Kurt Angle will be defending his title against The Undertaker at No Way Out. Also being questioned is what Helms winning the Cruiserweight Title will mean to the SmackDown Cruiserweights.

Sorry to keep it off-topic for one more sec, but the DVD's aren't any better. The prices I've seen, you pay about the exact price of the PPV itself. Sure you can watch it over and over again, but really how many times can you watch Rey win the RR or Cena win the title back without getting tired of that DVD you just payed about $25-30 for.
