Maryse underwent successful surgery on her injured knee this past Tuesday in Birgmingham, Alabama. The procedure was done by Dr. Jeffrey Dugas at Dr. James Andrews' "Alabama Sports Medicine
and Orthopaedic Center."

Maryse is expected to be out of action rehabbing the knee for at least three months, possibly longer.

WWE Diva to Turn Heel?
by Nick Paglino
Jul 31, 2009

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that in light of Maryse's recent knee injury WWE might be turning Gail Kim heel to feud with Mickie James as Raw's top heel Diva. Kim's heel turn was teased this past Monday night on Raw when she blindly tagged herself into the 6 Diva match which frustrated Mickie James.

Michelle McCool injured at WWE house show
Posted by Mike McMahon on August 1, 2009

HAMPTON BEACH, N.H. — WWE Womens Champion Michelle McCool was injured on Friday night in a title match against Eve Torres at a WWE house show.

McCool injured what appeared to be her left knee. It’s unclear how the injury occured, but after a rollup attempt by Torres, McCool rolled to the outside. The referee, who seemed puzzled, began a 10-count. A second referee (Jack Doan) came to ringside to check on McCool and immediatley put up the cross arms, signifying a legit injury.

Hampton Beach fire fighters and paramedics immediatley came to ringside to attend to McCool, who stayed on the floor for several minutes.

WWE road agent Arn Anderson emerged from backstage to check on McCool as well. Eventually, McCool was assisted to her feet and was helped to the backstage area. It appeared that if the injury was to her left knee, however the severity is not known at this time.

The match was ruled a no-contest.

I would rather they turn Mickie as a heel. She is best at heeldom (remebr her fued w/ Trish?). While Kim works best as a face (as is the case of her top babyface run in TNA). Still, as long as they give Kim the title, i will be happy. Oh, and make it a long run.

well u can hope for michaels. cause taker is hurt (for how long? :dunno:)
Edge won't be back for about a year with achilles surgery so count him out.
bring back the ROCK.:wave2:

I heard that taker or hbk could be back for summerslam :nanner:
damn, i hope edge comes back as a face, and the rock should really come back just for a few matches atleast :)

McCool Injury Not Serious?, Report Of Eugene's Return, More
by Matt Boone
Aug 02, 2009

The latest word on Michelle McCool's injury is that it isn't thought to be serious. She was noticably limping last night and as we mentioned before, was pulled from the card last-minute.

Nick Dinsmore officially returned to WWE at the Manchester, NH house show last night. He faced Ricky Ortiz in a singles match, still performing as the "Eugene" character.

What are they going to do, have Eugene and Hornswoggle team up?:dunno:

evan bourne was to win ecw world title before being drafted to rawto promote sci fi being changed to syfy http://www.sescoops.com/wwe/Bourne_Was_Scheduled_To_Be_ECW_Champion_Breaking_Point_PPV_Poster.shtml

Jeff Hardy Contract Update
by Chris Cash
Aug 03, 2009

I received word today that Jeff Hardy will in fact be taking time off after SummerSlam. Sources claim that Jeff Hardy was actually surprised that WWE put the title on him because they had known at that point he was going to be leaving to "pursue other interests". We've also heard that they could be negotiating a deal where Jeff still receives some type of retainer payment for merchandising while he's off television. If they do go with this, I'm sure it would include him not appearing for other televised wrestling companies (possibly any other promotion), but Jeff is telling everyone he does not want to leave to pursue other companies. Given these new reports, it's safe to assume Hardy will be dropping the title again either at SummerSlam or between now and then.

Was glad to see a guest host who was not there just to suck up to the good guys for a change. Although I hated the Doctor who was with him.

Will be interesting to see if Miz goes to ECW or Smackdown as a result of last night.

Oh I hate the Miz, love to see him leave RAW. However, if he went to ECW he'd only get the crap kicked out of him :D

Maybe in SD, he'll finally get the push he deserves. Cena never jobbed to him. He is crap.

nooooooooooooo
I think i would die of boredom if i had to watch hhh in another match against the legacy.

I want something surprising. Undertaker on RAW, Michaels on Smackdown and then have them switch back at the draft. That would be so sweet. I hope they do something great. I hope angle comes back soon too.

Big Update: More Raw Guest Host Names Revealed
by Nick Paglino
Aug 05, 2009

Businessweek.com has an interview up with Stephanie McMahon where she comments on future guest hosts of Raw. She says that the idea of celebrity guest hosts is definitely going to continue, and names like Freddie Prinze Jr, Bob Barker and Al Sharpton have been confirmed as future guest hosts of the show. The article notes, "Down the road, Stephanie McMahon says the show plans to have as hosts Freddie Prinze Jr., who will promote his new role on the Fox TV show 24, former game show host Bob Barker, and the Reverend Al Sharpton (who hasn't yet said exactly what he'll be promoting)."

At this rate why don't they go and get President Bush?:dunno:
