"Mike Johnson is reporting that Gail Kim will be entertaining on the Smackdown brand when she makes her WWE return. Kim was at this week's tapings to shoot promotional photos and chroma-key footage backstage.
The former TNA Knockout Champion and WWE Women's Champion could possibly make her WWE return as soon as tonight's Smackdown tapings in Albany, NY."

I guess well find out on Friday
I just got through reading the Smackdown taping spoilers and I didn't see Gail Kim on it but I did see another superstar making his return. Greg "Hurricane" Helms will make his return to Smackdown this Friday against MVP. Also a little Armageddon spoiler: Edge vs Triple H vs Jeff Hardy in a triple threat for the WWE Championship and in a dark match featured before Smackdown Carlito & Primo beat TJ Wilson & DH Smith with Natalya. TJ Wilson, DH Smith, & Natalya were introduced as "The Foundation".

I have to make a correction on this, while the information is correct the air date is not. These events were taped for the December 5 airing of Friday Night Smackdown. So while Helms technically returns this week you won't see it until next week.

Yeah normally they just tape that current weeks show but like you said it's probably because of the Holidays. I should of known something was up when I read that the Great Khali was going to come out wearing a Santa hat.:1orglaugh I did read the spoilers for this week though but it didn't look like anything exciting.
They're actually shooting two episodes of SD in one go because of the economy. WWE stock is down, ticket sales are down and they still have a product to put in the ring. So they're cutting where they can. They made a ******* on the recent European tour, but domestically are down huge amounts of cash. :glugglug::glugglug:

"Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer reports that Travis Tomko has resigned with WWE.
I know Travis visited a WWE Smackdown/ECW show in Atlanta after leaving TNA and spoke with John Laurinaitis then, and I understood he had visited other shows since. Travis had hoped for a regular spot in Japan, and was thinking of getting into MMA but neither happened.
TNA had initially left the door open to use him again and did once but creative had soured on using him for future dates due to issues when he was under contract.
No info on when he might start.
Obviously this will fuel speculation he will join Christian Cage again in WWE."

i understand that YOUR product is YOUR product.
but if Christian and tomko are both back in the WWE soon... the WWE wrtiting team should just continue with the attitude and angle that christian had in TNA. don't bring him back in as edge's ******* or whatever. have him come back as a cocky asshole talking **** ....BUT backing it up with wins...many wins. and he will be a total freakin heel...or the stupid WWE crowd will love him.

I agree, if Christian does end up back in WWE they need to push him like in TNA otherwise he'll just be lost in the shuffle facing the likes of Kung Fu Naki instead of Triple H.
Wasn't Tomko some sort of tag team champion with Prince Albert in Japan?
Yeah, over there Prince Albert is known as Giant Bernard and together with Tomko they were the IWGP Tag Team Champions with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

What,is he and Christian joined at the hip or something?
It's my hope that WWE will realize what they lost when the pushed Christian to the bottom of the card his last runh out with them. They have to pay attention to the other brands in the industry. Hopefully, they'll push him straight at Edge, as another heel who doesn't think Edge is worthy of the belt.
Tomko coming back is good news. He learned how to work in TNA, and will add something to whatever brand he ends up on. :glugglug:
