Ok, I'll bite...how the FUCK did Edge win?

Here you go courtesy of WWE.com

BOSTON – In front of a capacity crowd in the TD Banknorth Garden, Edge stunned the WWE Universe by returning from Hell to become the new WWE Champion, defeating former champion Triple H and Vladimir Kozlov as a late entrant in the Triple Threat Match.

With Jeff Hardy out of action after being found *********** in the stairwell of his Boston hotel earlier in the morning (Full story), Kozlov and Triple H battled each other one-on-one. Just when it looked like the champion had Kozlov where he wanted him with a hard-hitting Pedigree, SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero interrupted the match to announce that it would indeed be Triple Threat – with Edge as the third competitor.

The WWE Universe had not seen any sign of life from Edge since Undertaker sent him to Hell at SummerSlam in a Hell in a Cell Match. But on this night, he was full of energy and unleashed on The Game with a vicious spear. Next, Hardy shocked the WWE Universe by running into the ring and attacking Edge. Next, Hardy jumped out of the ring to get a steel chair. He returned to the ring, knocking both Triple H and Kozlov to the canvas with angst-ridden shots with a steel chair. A fired-up Edge took down Hardy with a spear. After the carnage, The Ultimate Opportunist capitalized, covering Triple H for the win.

Coincidently, the last time Edge won the WWE Championship was in a Triple Threat Match on Raw in July 2006, when he defeated John Cena and Rob Van Dam.

Edge’s victory ended the 12th reign of The King of Kings, who has held the WWE Championship since April. (WWE Championship history)

The stunning course of events leaves the WWE Universe asking some compelling questions.

Exactly what happened to Hardy in his hotel? What will Triple H do to try and regain the gold? And what is the state of the relationship between SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero and her husband, Edge? Finally, how will Kozlov react to not winning the coveted gold he has been seeking?

Things are sure to be very interesting on Friday Night SmackDown."

I'm glad Edge has the belt and after reading that, I'm 100% positive that the whole "***********" thing was part of the storyline.

yea....but fucking jericho lost...i like cena but i really really really...(did i mention really) wanted jericho to keep the strap

Gee, imagine that. Way to surprise us WWE.

I can see it now... tomorrow, Cena will come out and be all happy he won and will thank everyone for supporting him on the road to recovery, and then Jericho will come out and want a rematch and Cena will give him one because he's a fighting champion and never backs down...

Of course, WWE could surprise us and make Cena turn heel tomorrow... It's unlikely as hell, but hey, Chinese Democracy is out...

Still waiting on Duke Nukem Forever, though...

Cena will stay face and give Jericho his rematch and keep the title. Will be champ until after Wrestlemania. Will get revenge on the heel Batista at Mania before Batista wins the title a few weeks after Wrestlemania.

yup, it's a part of the whole storyline...edge and hardy are going to feud...

I have my doubts about that...Mr. Helmsley is never far from the Title picture..after all he IS nailing the boss' ********...probably Edge and Triple H, culminating at Wrestlemania...
WTF is with Cena winning his first bout back? Hometown pop or not, that sucks. Is he nailing a McMahon too? Jericho should have held on to the belt at least for a couple of more bouts, PPVs even. They gave away a Wrestlemania match...and put the strap back on Cena...yeesh.
And thankfully 'Taker and 'Show are done feuding. Now maybe Show can go be a gimmick again, and 'Taker can feud with someone with a personality...please WWE, NOT Vladmir Kozlov...:glugglug:

Yikes! The only thing scarier than face Batista is heel Batista...scary in a not-so-scary-and-kinda-dull kinda way that is...

batista sucks....his match consists of
whip to the turnbuckle, shoulder in the mid section of opponent, rinse and repeat 6 or 8 times.
a few clotheslines, not selling any of the opponents moves and a batista bomb.
just because your big doesn't mean you have the wrestling skills also. batista a prime example! his matches and interviews....:*****:

If Batista offered me $250 Million to go on national television and say "I like Dave Batista", I wouldn't do it. I **** Batista more than Smurfs ****...wait, what do Smurfs ****? :dunno:

Only the WWE could screw up Melina's return.
I gotta admit not only she did look incredible, but her in-ring skills have improved as well.
The Divas division should be interesting for the foreseeable future

Yeah, too bad they screwed the pooch on this one...but wow! She looked good, the moves have improved, and well, she's Melina. Welcome back!:glugglug:
