I thought the Million $ give away was a good idea at first to gain ratings and get fans watching the show, however the segments will have to be a lot better in the future as opposed to Vince standing there trying to dial a phone.

i think the #'s were being dialed somewhere else. he just made it look like he was doing it live.i don't even think there was a phone line connected to that conference call speaker phone thing.
it was bad because one of the #'s you heard the BEEPS and he wasn't even hitting a button.

One thing they need to do is change up the password after each win. Technically I didn't even have to watch the show, I got the password from wwe.com. Even if I didn't I all I had to do was find out the password at the top of the show and watch whatever the hell else I wanted to watch. If they change up the password and restrict the password to RAW and not featured on wwe.com then the ratings would go up. From what I heard the ratings this past Monday were the lowest it's ever been.

Can't say I'm surprised about the ratings. Wrestlingwise the show sucked. The only highlight was Jericho finally turning heel (which to me he was always better at).

Yes indeed. Jericho as a heel = pure gold. And i think a fued with him and HBK will do well, as long as Boretista isn't involved.

As for Raw, ya, massive bore. Watching Vince dial slowly and mess up at that and try to humor it up for close to 10, 20 minutes is not entertaining.
And i think the ratings speak for themselves. If they HAVE to do a moneymaniamanicmonsoon give-away, why not have the contest online?? Why interrupt the WRESTLING PROGRAM with a gameshow-like segment? If people are truely dedicated and actually care, they'll check online, and watch the program as well, and those of us who DON'T care about a rating-seeking lottery can watch a wrestling show (well, somewhat wrestling.)
Bet a good wrestling match wouldn't hurt them every now and then.

The more I see of Cherry, the more I'm falling in love with her. I'm starting to like her even more than Melina.

The numbers were pre-screened.
I heard about that, so pretty much if you don't receive a phone call before RAW starts on Monday then you won't receive a phone call during the show. That's why the winners didn't really seem all that excited, because they already knew they were getting something.

I'm starting to like Cherry as well and I'm really starting to like Maryse the more I see of her.

Thats a good Idea, the raitings would skyrocket, plus the segments need to be more interesting, rather than having crappy wrestlers like Hass on stage and horrible singers in the ring

I just hope the "contest" doesn't take up as much time this week. Hell, have the contest be backstage segments instead of making a big production out of it on the main stage, with entrances and such, like when they did the "lottery" for the Royal Rumble numbers some years back (not making the best comparison but just usin an example.)
I also hope Jericho gets a run at, and with, the championship. He's a good champion, and it'd be nice to see the title holders cycle more often.

i had an ice hockey game last night. and i don't see the need to DVR the show. did i miss anything? important?
