Expect Nothing and Appreciate Everything
Don't forget, this picture has been taken at sunset/dusk, so brightening it up too much will be un-natural. I think that touched up picture is a bit too bright now, and it seems some of the original colour has been taken out as well because it has been brightened.
Here is one I've tried by adding a bit of brightness, but then also added more colour, a bit of pop, a little warmth and some skin tone and deep blue to compensate the brightness increase
