Well, it's a fact. Muslims living in the west don't stone their wives and sisters. Although their have been instances where some Muslim men have committed atrocious murders on their wives for wanting to leave them, etc.

But it's not like that's very different from what some people do here anyway...or in places like Brazil where wives are still subjugated.

The average Muslim in the west doesn't walk around with traditional Muslim, Arab garb, hijabs and turbans. No more than a Hasidic Jew or Indian Hindis. All Muslim women don't even wear that stuff in Muslim country's...hell, I even heard one of OBL's wives wanted a Chanel purse or something.

So Muslims in the west have generally conformed. But their country's haven't evolved to tolerate pluralism on a wide scale.

What Trident says is pretty much true, the US hasn't had nearly as many issues surrounding the rise of fundamentalism and general integration from within its own boarders as many European nations.
