i went for along ass time not knowing it even existed............
The machine was a poor piece of hardware as well. Reboot problems, shoddy control ports that were prone to not working on a regular basis. And it was not the quietest machine around at the time either. Sega only have THEMSELVES TO BLAME for their downfall. It's fucking easy to go and lay the blame at other peoples door when the bitches are not man enough to accept that they fucked up in every situation and didn't have what it took to bring it on.
The Dreamcast's build quality had absolutely nothing to do with it's downfall. Sure, it wasn't the quietest system out there (especially when loading) but it's a reliable system compared to other more successful consoles - The disc-scratching PS2 and self-cooking XBox 360 being prime examples.
In Terms of success graphics don´t matter that much. PS, PS2, Gameboy, DS and Wii prove(d) it.
