Alot of Americans who grew up with the mass illegal immigration of mexicans think that those little poor indian mexicans represent a latin chic.

You're in Colombia, right? So you see a different racial mix than might be seen in Brazil or Peru? You're right, we tend to see more Mexicans here. But there are all "brands" of Mexicans too. A White Mexican looks nothing like one who has lots of Indian blood. My ex was certainly a Latina (think Salma Hayek, but with curlier hair). But she looked more Italian to most who met her for the first time. Her father's family was from Italy and her mother's family was from Spain. Still considered a Latina though.

But Vanessa del Rio is as much of a Latina as is Ice La Fox or the girls you tend to see down there. I'd say Penelope Cruz has more Spanish blood than any of the girls you see in Colombia. But does that make her more of a Latina? As TrueTrans said, it's not really a hard & fast category with the truly distinctive physical features. And the same is true of "Asians". You might meet someone from India who is every bit as much of an Asian as someone from China or Korea.

Please people, you are attracted to whatever you are. If you don't like chocolate, you don't like it. If you don't like vanilla, you don't like it. It doesn't mean you think they are inferior etc. This is a matter of taste and about what turns on. It's a different story if you DO get attracted to someone, but refuse to be with them because of their race (meaning, you are turned on by this person, but worry about what people say, etc).
