I find it ironic that a guy like Quentin Tarantino- who apparently can't make a movie without that dreaded word- is regarded as a genius. Rap artists use it so routinely, it's almost like the word "The" to them, and they are regarded as 'artists'. Some ass clown like Louis CK uses it with regularity, and he ends up on magazine covers as this comic genius. Yet, in the PAST, Paula Deen used that terrible word that everyone is afraid to utter for fear of who may be lurking nearby, ready to swoop down and brand them racist, and she is utterly destroyed.

Either that word is ok for everyone to use, or it's not ok for anyone to use. Frankly- I think it would be fine if it was the latter.

I wouldn't go as far as calling Louis CK a comedic genius, but I understand the point he is trying to make.



as for Tarantino, he's a movie director/screenwriter. Actors understand this, otherwise Samuel L. Jackson wouldn't have done Pulp Fiction, nor Jaime Fox wouldn't have done Django.

Paula Deen used the term to belittle people, she used it for her amusement. Hence why she is being sued and why she was on the stand, under oath; was asked if she used the racial term.

It is a big fucking deal. Alot of her fans are black and now they know how she feels about them. Don't dictate how others should feel about a word that clearly doesn't bother you. That's pretty selfish and would make someone Cpt of The Douchepatrol.
