What would you do if your company demaged your car?

My car was severely damaged by my company which I worked for almosts 10 years.

The President and CEO retired last November 16, 2009.

The entire department of Investigation/Loss Prevention/Security was fired 2 weeks ago.

But those guys cut my air bag, my brake line, my fuel pump, the windshield window, the passenger side window, and extensive damages to the inside.

Total costs amounted to 10,000.00 dollars.

What should I do?

The LP (Loss Prevention)/Security and Investigation wasted hundreds of millions to create account to point fingers at employees that they are at risk for stealing parcels.

I am an attorney.On the face of it, it seems that you may have a cause of action against someone or some entity. Do you have proof of vandalism by someone associated with your job? Or is this speculation? Have you filed a police report? Do you have comprehensive automobile coverage?

Are you saying that this is some sort of retaliation because you were a whistle blower?

Have you considered discussing this with a local attorney? There seems to be a lot of fill in the blanks based upon what you have posted so far.

The deal is the small parcel division of the postal service built a multi-million dollar sortation center in the west end of town.

I was working on a saturday and driving a forklift and hit the fuel box and caused a breakdown of the central computer control unit when the new sortation center just open (10 million machinery including belt, etc). The overzealous Hub Manager decided to "punish" employees. It is well known he has his way for the last 15 years ! I am not only the only one. It is a pattern. Other employees go to jail, get fired, suspended.

That's the way things are.

The worst is the union is Teamsters !

You said it all.

The big boss is a "minority" but the investigation team/security/loss prevention are all white and fired. The entire floor of LP was locked up. No one can go up there.

You need to figure out how your going to prove it. You can't just sue unless you can figure out motives and have evidence to prove it.
