This chart shows the clear decline of our civilization. Sadly, American Idol isn't represented. That would be definitive proof of our collective emasculation and the appeal of the lowest common denominator.
We get practically every other hit American show past and present.
You'd think having a channel dedicated to 90s American sitcoms would be a no-brainer. Family Matters, Step-by-Step, Full House... I'd be totally glued to it.
The major flaw with that chart is that Family Matters was a family sitcom. Family sitcoms (i.e. all-ages) *always* win the ratings. Arrested Development is the only other sitcom on there and it wasn't going for a family audience. Everything else on that chart is a drama.
Well talk about random group of TV shows. Teen drama, comedy, sci-fi, and teen comedies.
Besides, I hate getting into Fox shows, they are so notorious for canceling decent shows! For the others I enjoyed Family Matters, Arrested Development, and I vaguely remember Wonderfalls.
Was the same sad story with American Gothic, anyone remember that? The show kicked so much ass that America ran out and they had to send it to Australia where there's always a surplus of unkicked ass, but alas after a single awesome season there was nothing!
They have them all on Hulu if anyone is interested, I highly recommend it.
