Wow you really hate rap.
I'm all over the place, blues, rock, alternative, some r&b and rap every once in a while. I find that if I stick to one genre for too long it just gets stale, so I like to keep it moving. :D

Hey now, that's a little harsh. Some rap is pretty good - I like it, and I'm even a white girl. Meaning, I'm supposed to be the least likely demographic to find it appealling.

I listen to rock mostly, some indie rock and pop, and alternative. The only country I like is the Dixie Chicks and Dolly Parton and some Johnny Cash - the rest of it hurts my ears. I'm a huge fan of all 60s-70s music - psychedelic rock & pop and motown especially.

When I was in high school, my uncle used to tell me "Crimson and Clover" would inspire world peace. Was it a nice little psychedelic tune? Yes. Was he probably stoned out of his mind? Yeah. :1orglaugh

I listen to most kinds of Rock. I have been getting into the more hardcore stuff lately, but will listen to anything with good guitar work.

You are welcome, dear apprentice.

We're on the same page there! I didn't find out until college that the song was by Tommy James. Great song though

The song ROCKS!!!!!!

You know, I was in my late teens before I learned that Geddy Lee from Rush was a guy. :dunno:

It was Tommy James and the Shondells.I remember the first time I ever heard it was on one of those diner jukeboxes you had in your booth. It was one of the 1st ever songs with a psychadelic flavor and is a classic. They also did Mony Mony originally way before Billy Idol was born even lol.
