Supernatural is very good
I have never seen "House of Cards" with Kevin Spacey
but I saw the original BBC series "House of Cards" with Ian Richardson from the 1990's

Ouuuutttsssssttttttaaaaannndddding and grippping political suspense thriller about a party whip who knows all the workings of a political party well enough to see a path to power emerge which he follows all the way to Number 10 Downing Street .....Fantastic stuff

I like Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Community, Trailer Park Boys, Orange is the New Black, Mad Men, Califorinacation, Chuck and Breaking Bad.
A few of favorite series' but they only lasted 2 seasons or under are Freaks & Geeks, Firefly and Dollhouse.

There are some great TV programs amongst all the dross out there at the moment.

One I just came across and would encourage people to watch is "Orange is the New Black", which is a Netflix original series. Written by Jenji Kohan who also wrote "Weeds".

That show is amazing! I can't wait for Season 2.

I hate to be this guy, but.....Breaking Bad.

Breaking Bad is amazing it filled with surprises.

Historical drama like "The White Queen" which has the backdrop of the War of the Roses between the Houses of Lancaster and York in 15th Century England and the conflict between three powerful women at the time. Anne Warwick , Elizabeth Woodville and Margaret Beauford.
I can not leave out "The Tudors" which also is very good drama .

I have to acknowledge science fiction like Stargate SG1 (which ran for 10 seasons I think)
Stargate Atlantis (which was fairly good too but got wrapped after 5 seasons)
Here's one : Star Trek: Deep Space Nine where the crew did not go anywhere in a ship but let the war find them.

And there is fantasy : Game of Thrones.

Best I can tell is the Orange will be back sometime next year but it WILL be back.

I caught the first episode of "The Tunnel" last night and this looks like a good one, with Clémence Poésy as the French detective.

2 shows that don't get enough credit: Sons of Anarchy and Justified. I'll admit Justified got a little slow there for a bit but they righted the ship and Boyd Crowder is the most awesome bad guy in the history of bad guys.

Plus the newsroom and game of thrones, about to start house of cards.

Big SOA fan, though that is not quite as compelling as previous seasons. Michael J Fox is good, and I'm catching up on Blacklist- pretty good show.

Marvels Agents of SHIELD - liking it very much and I'm optimistic for the future.

The Blacklist - also optimistic and people need to get over the Hannibal Lecter schtick in the first episodes.

The Newsroom - I like it, but Sorkin has a make or break season coming up and I hope he knows it.
