Full, juvenile 80s fare from John Hughes without the lovey-dovey of Sixteen Candles/Pretty In Pink or the swaggering attitude of The Breakfast Club, with with Kelly LeBrock and some genuinely amusing moments, my favourite mostly being when Gary introduces Lisa to his parents. Some awesome lines too, I love Kelly getting to say "it's purely sexual" "tossing off" and "hurts so good" at various points, although my obvious favourite (and one I plagiarize repeatedly) is "Sex, drugs, rock 'n' roll.... chips, dips, chains, whips." Plus a pretty interesting supporting cast - young Bill Paxton and young Robert Downey Jr show up.
Harmless fun, nothing mold-breaking.
