John Carpenter's Halloween, it's a cut above the rest.
Halloween 2(1981) This and H20 are the only worthy sequels in my book.
Halloween 20 Years Later.
Ju-On: The Curse.
The Descent. Good, but predictable.
Trick 'r Treat, I rate it almost as good as Halloween(1978)

Halloween definitely is in a class by itself and Trick R' Treat was excellent. Love Japanese horror.

It's kinda funny that a movie with a budget of 325k is better than a movie with a budget of 15m.

"The Woman In Black" (2012). There has not been (for me, at least) a more amazingly shot, or stylish ghost movie like this for a LONG time. This really harkened back to an older era of horror movies, and I really, really REALLY wish they would call off plans for a sequel.
