So its not great then, whats wrong with it?

It's just... Blah.

No real story, kind of jumbled. I couldn't figure out who was a good guy and who was bad. Concentrates too hard on being a sequel instead of kicking arse. Only a few moments that make you think "hellll yeah!" and when it ends, you feel just as you did at the beginning.

It's not awful, but for all that money and hype, it needed to be better (no where near as good as Casino Royale)

You're not missing much if you just wait for the DVD. I probably wouldn't watch it ever again, but if I did it would just be to skip to the motorbike thing (you'll know it when you see it) and the theatre scene (a small moment of genius).

Back on topic, The Orphanage is great and actually scared the shit out of me. Also Speed was on the other night, total classic.

Oh, and how could I forget. Rescue Dawn, how did this treasure slip by me? Fucking amazing. I wasn't in 'Nam, but I'm pretty certain that's the most realistic it's ever been portrayed in a film.

Last 2 movies I saw are Iron Man and The Dark Knight. Enjoyed both immensely but IM edges out slightly because of the F/X and the amount of humor in it. There are bunch of movies I want to catch on DVD like Juno, Cloverfield, Hellboy II, and Bourne Ultimatum. May have to wait awhile since I spent weekends taking care of my son so there's little free time for me.

Whore by Ken Russel.

Its not a new movie but i watched it for the first time earlier today. Im a big Russel fan and never had the chance to see that movie. Quite enjoyed it.

Just watched that movie myself. Actually intended to be a more realistic presentation of the world of prostitution in response to the success of Pretty Woman, the year before. I thought it was good, scored 7/10 for me.

I also watched the often overlooked sequel Whore 2, though the plot is totally unrelated and it is by a different director. A much more realistic presentation than the first, most of the roles of prostitutes are played by the women themselves. It lacks the humor elements and the strong female protagonist of the first one though. A good, though different type of movie than the first. Also scored 7/10 for me.

The Outlaw Josey Wales, I've been on such a Clint Eastwood kick. It's fantastic.

If you haven't rent/download/watch:
Dirty Harry
Magnum Force
The Enforcer
Sudden Impact
The Dead Pool (Although, not as good as the others)

"Dirty" Harry Callahan, greatest cop movies of all time.

I watched The Incredible Hulk a few days ago. It was pretty damn good.
