I actually think it's better than Braveheart.

Part of me agrees with that. Braveheart is a great movie, but there's something about The Patriot that makes me like it more.

Wall-E

I am not a big pixar fan, but it was very well done and quite endearing movie. Entertaining for adult or kids, just like The Incredibles..

In many ways though, it's the exact same film - reluctant hero gathers a rag-tag army to battle the same powerful oppressor (who will remain nameless :))

Probably the final war scene where he's running slowmo with the flag. :)

The CGI family movie landscape these days:

Pixar movies - Good.
Dreamworks - So-so.

.

That and how he was reluctant at first but then became a devoted believer in their cause

Didn't particularly like Jumper. But I just saw Hancock and it was nice, not lap-slapping great, but nice. That part where Charlize Theron turned out to be super too (oops, did I let the cat out of the bag for some?) could have broken the story up but they were able to handle it well.

sunday Alicia made me watch Legends of the fall.. I'd never seen it so she went out and bought it. great movie. i recommend it if you haven't seen it.

lol.. we just watched Clerks II. funny fucking movie. I loved it when jay was singing goodbye horses and role playing the scene from silence of the lambs

Batman 1989

Still one of my favourite films. Hell, I'm watching it right now. And I have to say I would have Jack's man-kids. Yes I would. :D

Comic Movie Marathon:
Spawn

I'm sorry. You should really check out the animated series that aired on HBO. While in the later episodes it deviates from the storyline of the comics, it was completely accurate to the tone and style, unlike the live action movie that sugar-coated AND changed the story.

hmm...i'm gonna have to say lord of war, with nicholas cage
