What is the latest good film you watched ?

Here's one that most of you who know it will wonder why I didn't post it in the "other" thread: Hudson Hawk a 1991 Bruce Willis bomb. The critics hated it, it lost a lot of money (took in $17mil would have needed another $100mil to break even). But to me it's a misunderstood broad parody of action/adventure films with 4 or 5 funny scenes with a weak plot and some truly horrible dialog. My biggest complaint it has Sandra Bernhard in it who I cannot stand at all, and Andie MacDowell is a weak heroine. It has one of the best McGuffin's the villains are going to recreate Da Vinci's La Macchina dell'Oro to turn lead into gold and to do that they need to steal from The Louvre, The Vatican, etc.

Just finished watching Dead Reckoning (1947 film) staring Humphrey Bogart & Lizabeth Scott It's a very well viewed film noir mystery. Holds up well except Bogie as a decorated Captain in the 82nd Airborne sure gets knocked out a lot!

Where to Invade Next (2015) on Netflix, eye opening.
Biased but very valid points, the sad part is that most of the ideas for a better society came from America, but have been slowly and secretly abolished by the corporate overlords aka evil assholes who rule America.

Inside Man (2006) A nice gritty bank caper with a couple of fresh twists.

Now You See Me 2 (2016) Really enjoyed the first one, the sequel isn't quite as polished but still worth watching, and the irony of having Daniel Radcliffe in a magic movie and he can't do magic (not a spoiler ;) Isla Fisher had to miss the movie but Lissy Caplan is a good sub.

Hateful 8 (2015) I'm going to be kind and sleep on this one before I give you my thoughts.

i've the jungle book (2016) on vudu i'm going to watch after I'm done stroking myself.

I've never seen the animated version or read the book, but I'm calling it - it's a good film.

Citizen Soldier (2016)

It documents members of the Oklahoma National Guard deployed to the front lines of Afghanistan in 2011.

The combat photography is award-winning and it's such a powerful documentary.

God bless the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and our Citizen Soldiers.

Untitled Neill Blomkamp/Alien Project (2017), starring Sigourney Weaver & Michael Biehn (rumored), is to be a sequel to Aliens(1986), creating a new timeline apart from the Alien 3 & Alien 4 movies.
Aliens (1986) is my favorite and the most popular in the series, most people didn't really like the Alien 3 & Alien 4 movies.
