Good cast, good story, good mystery.

I was a fan of the original Cloverfield (2008) movie, but Mary Elizabeth Winstead is the main reason I watched it.

The Last King of Scotland. It's a fictionalized account of Idi Amin's reign of terror in Uganda in the 70's. Forest Whitaker put on a truly brilliant performance - he carried the movie. I'd seen bits and pieces of it before, but finally got a chance to watch the entire movie the other night... and I'm glad that I did.
