That was excellent! I hope the system lets me rep you.

It's so, so rare these days to hear a talk that doesn't rely on biases or trying to be PC. He just laid it out and did an excellent job. That was good stuff. And he made a good point that even though it's a government-managed form of capitalism (on the other end of the capitalist spectrum from the laissez faire type), the Chinese communists have and are finding great (macro) success with their approach. And I'd be willing to bet that, based on recent polls taken in the U.S., more Chinese millennials believe in capitalism than American millennials. I don't know... it just strikes me as funny that **** who've grown up under a communist form of government would lean towards a capitalist economic system, while a growing number of **** who've grown up under a democratic/republican form of government now seem to be all about a socialist economic system.

P.S. Nope, it wouldn't let me! Would someone else give Luxman some rep and then I'll rep you in return?

American people grew up in a capitalist system and most of the corruption they witnessed or experienced was caused by capitalism, that's why they lean towards a more socialist or government regulated capitalism.
Chinese people grew up in an oppressive communist system and that's why they want more capitalism, to at least have the opportunity to improve their lives.
It's impossible to eliminate corruption but it can be reduced. Capitalism and communism on their own are innately corrupt.
Both systems are flawed, but a combination of both creates a better more fair system. Socialist capitalism is greater than the sum of it's parts.
In theory every system should be fair, but greed and corruption always gives most of the benefits to a small percentage of the population, usually the least deserving.

What is the purpose of the rep system? A like system for individual posts would be better, like on youtube.
Most of my rep comes from at most 25% of my posts, and half of my posts are just the word "BUMP".

Capitalism is the exploitation of men by men
Socialism is the opposite

"Capitalism is a system where money and factories are privately owned and -as we have seen- in such a system only the biggest companies succeed."

"Socialism cannot succeed because people are capitalists by nature."
How do you know that ? Have you asked them ? What's strange is that people love every major progress who came from the left : Paid leaves, maternity leaves, week-ends, retirement pension, etc...

The nature of the people is such that we do not want to share but we want to acquire private property.

How many times has your neighbor brought you food, borrowed a car and cut your lawn?

How many women have given you a altruistic hole?

Have you never seen a *** sharing the snack his mum had given him with his friend ? I mention **** because, contrary to adults, **** did not had their minds tainted by society, they've kept their innocent way of life. If you wanna know about human nature, look at ****

Power is always corrupt, always, the main difference between different governments/corporations is the level of corruption.
Nearly all corruption is caused by greed.
