I completed warhammer 40000 space marine today ( xbox 360 ) , so I traded it for resistance 3 ( PS3 ). I'm almost done with Infamous 2 ( PS3 ) as well.
You beat Space Marines already?! Jeez,now I'm wondering if I should even bother getting it now.
Played the demo and liked it,but if it's that short,I'll just rent it since I have no interest in the multiplayer for it.

I'm about 3 hours or so into it at the moment. Giving the XB a break letting it cool down. I don't like having the machine on too long even though it's capable of handling it. But I'm off to have another go on it shortly as it's been about an hour or so it's had to cool down now. Well, nearly two hours going by the time it is just now. I'm happy with what I've seen so far. There's something just satisfying as fuck when you knock a zombie on it's back with a few kicks, then walk up to it's head and bring down a metal pipe on it's skull and it ***** it. At one point I got jumped by 7 zombies at once as I entered a hut that had some zombie bitch tied to a bed inside who was being filmed by the camera in the room at the time. I survived by standing in the door way this way only a couple could come at me at any given time and I gave them all a good old fashioned beating with the metal pipe.

Sweet. Do u think there will eventually be guns in the game? I have seen gameplay footage and there was only boat paddles, lead pipe, a bat, a short *****, and something else.
Melee weapons makes it so zombies can get too close to you.

Wait till you lop the head off of a charging zombie! The action slows down and the head flies off and spins a little in the air! Not a huge zombie fan, but this game is fun!
I finally got a *** last night. But then got in a situation up on a scaffolding where I was ****** to use all my fuckin ammo.
Have had borderlands sitting around for awhile and just started playing it... Now I know why I havent played it before

I just completed the demo for the God of War: Origins re-release for the PS3. Being a God of War fan, I liked it and I will probably buy it. Not exactly when it comes out, but sooner than later.
That is sweet about finally getting a *** in Dead Island. I am a huge zombie fan, and ******* zombies with melee weapons adds more suspense because you have to get so close to them, and the potential of getting bitten rises.
However, having to waste all of your ammo on the zombies? Where there that many zombies or didn't you not aim for the forehead/head to **** them?

There are guns in the game. I've only come across handguns so far. But I am taking my time so it's understandable as to why this is for me. I've had a six shooter I got near the start. I then got a baretta type weapon when I went to the city form a bandit type guy I shot. They shoot at you so you have to shoot back or you will die. But once you **** them (head shots are the best and take them down pretty quickly depending on what weapon you are firing) they drop their guns and ammo too. Some of them respawn in certain parts of the city so if you run low on ammo head back that way to the part where you ****** then before and cap their asses again and stock up. Rinse and repeat if needed. I just don't know how long it takes for them to respawn though. But they do respawn eventually.
Right now I did a mission for a guy in the church and he gave me the desert eagle ***. I suped it up to the max in the work bench area of the church. It's got a slower fire rate than the normal handguns but is more powerful each shot. I went to a water processing plant on a mission given to me by the nun in the church. I capped about six or so baddies from a short distance with the dezzy (desert eagle) all head shots. Yes they hit you a couple of times if your not quick enough at aiming. But it's worth the damage in a way as it saves ammo if you aim for the head. This is the part of the game I'm at just now the water station mission.
There are probably more weapons later on like the AK47 and that. But I've yet to come across them. The suicider zombie, shoot it with the ****** from a distance, one or two bullets, maybe three should blow it up and it's no more. It's great if there are any zombies near it when it explodes as it takes them with it :nanner:
See now I've told you how to obtain more ammo for the ****** (the ammo for the pistols does for them and the desert eagle as well so no worries there), well now I've told you where to get extra ammo and maybe a different ****** or two. Don't be tempted to stand out infront of any enemy and start shouting Scarface quotes as you fire bullets in their direction. It will end on one of two ways. You running out and having to run away or you getting ****** by a zombie or a punk/bandit. They can be found in the city streets and alleys. They usually baracade themselves in an alley or somewhere and shoot at the zombies from within. Listen for sounds of *** fire when in the city and follow it.

It does slow down I noticed that. But I think it does so so as to show off the awesomeness of the head coming off in slo-mo. I've seen it happen with me shooting the *** at a head or smashing a head with a melee weapon. But it doesn't happen all the time or in the same area of the level all the time. At least not for me anyway. I only play the single player offline mode by the way. I don't think the slo-mo thing is a glitch. And as I said it doesn't happen everytime you **** someone so it's not annoying. At least not for me anyway.

^^^no it's not a glitch, it's intentionally slowed down. As for finding guns. I think that depends on who the character you chose at the start. I took the guy with the blunt skill, you obviously chose the black chick with the *** skill.
I'm tired of running up to zombies and hitting them all the fuckin time. I think I'll start over with the chick and run that for an hour or so to see if I get a *** sooner. Only I'm LV 18 now, so it'll suck to start from scratch on a second game save.

I'm gonna wrap The Godfather this time around.
Damn,if it's that short then it's kinda not worth me spending 50 bucks on it.I liked the demo,but I guess I was hoping for more.
Right now I'm playing inFAMOUS 2,and I have to say that while I liked the first game,I'm kinda pissed that they didn't fix some of the wonky control issues for this game.I'm tired of sticking or floating towards ledges that I don't want to.
No my friend I didn't take the black chick. I mostly use men as my character of choice if given the choice that is. I am using "Sam B" the guy that is best suited to blunt weapons. I chose him since melee is the most common form of combat in the game. I got a *** from a guy after I did a side quest for him it was a **** poor six shooter but it was better than nothing. And funnily enough I hardly used it. I just used it when I had to defend the garage while the van was being "armoured up" for me to use to get to the city. Now I am in the city the *** selection opened up a bit more and I've started to use the *** as a weapon a bit more since.
