I live in the suburbs.
But Antioch (the next city over) is turning into a shithole. Lost of child predators and gang member wannabe's.

PARTS of the Mission
ultimately all of those places arent completely bad, there are fair amounts of good, hard working people in each of them. but they are known more for their darker sides.
just like every other district in The City, even my beloved Sunset Dist. have their dark sides behind their bigger brighter sides

My side of town, the south side of Chicago
I talked to some "shooters" a while back and they said they get their bags by my side of town. I was a little surprised, because the only place I know of where you can pick up a prostitute and that shit is on the other side of town. That's where most of the homicides occur too (no more than a couple dozen a year, at the most. it's not freakin South Central), although we get one every great once in a while over here as well. It's not a bad neighborhood by any stretch of the imagination, but there really is a thin line between the better places and the really shittier places. Basically if I go for a walk at night I have at least a six inch blade on me. No, I don't have a C&C (yet).
I hate it over there, I try to stay away from over there on that side of town. It's just bad over there.

All of Saskatoon. But unlike Dartmouth, there isn't any redeeming qualities here.

heh, good to know.
I aint been able to find exact figures but there was 130 murders last year of a population of 7.5million Londoners (1.8 per 100,000 people), and London is huge with many estates or projects if you were. There is always a general feeling of shock when there is a murder and it makes the front page news of the appropriate local newspapers when there is one.
