As far as rep count goes, I'm fine with it. Never was an issue with me and I've seen it go back to zero more than a couple of times now in the past 5 years.
And for post count, I'm okay with that too as the Post Games doesn't register posts there or else I would be well past 20,000 posts.
So if this is real, I'm okay with it....but I'm not convinced yet that it is real.

WTF????? Lose rep points, post counts and record of every post ever made???

How is that not basically the same as kicking the whole membership off the board???? That sounds crazy!!!! Why even bother being a member??? Seems like FO does something like this every two years or so by resetting rep points but this seems pretty extreme. If the new software can't migrate the essential features of your board, then why in the hell are you going to be using it?????

If there's not a workaround for this and the new software is implemented anyway, it'll be a serious blow to this board. I hope enough people chime in to let the mods know what a horrible fucking idea this is.
