weed question

i have never tried weed or any other *****, but i have recently obtained a bit of the stuff from a friend. (~5 grams or so)

now, this might sound dumb, but: how do i smoke it?

do i buy rolling paper or maybe a pipe? what's better? and should i mix the weed with some tobacco, or just smoke it straight?

Use rolling papers to try the first time, and don't mix with tobacco.

Do not mix with Tabacco it will only ruin/confuse your first experience with it.

Since it is your first time just buy some rolling papers and break/grind up and roll into the papers. If you are bad at rolling(like I am) you can just buy a cheap zig zag(brand) roller.


For future reference as far as quality of smoke/vapor imo Vaporizer>Bong>Pipe>Joint>Blunt

Likewise, i have never smoked, but a friend of mine advises for first timers a rolled joint of 50-50 weed-tobacco, as you have no idea of the type, age, strength etc ..... if the results from that are pleasant, graduate to an all weed doobie (my friend says).

But the main advice. Don't bother. Throw it away, do something useful with the time you will waste having great ideas that dissolve in daylight

Use a pipe man, Bongs are pricey and paper is weaksauce. You can find one online on google search for pretty cheap, or go to a tobacco shop in your area, they'll help you out. Dont use the weed with tobacco!!! But, Have a sitter (a friend who is sober who will make sure you don't freak out or do anything stupid) too. It's just a precaution for newbies ....nothing extreme is going to happen to you.

Because no one has ever had great ideas while high on MJ... Except for almost every artist to ever make a decent album. Or tons of actors in the movies you watch or people like Steve Jobs that just might have invented the computer you are on.

if i tell you to just go buy rolling papers and roll it up into joints no thicker than a #2 pencil then simply smoke it and dont go mixing it with tobacco and also with 5 grams no needs to buy a pipe or bong i would be an accessory after the fact, so i better not get involved here.

You can always make a disposable pipe out of Aluminum Foil. Wrap the foil around a Bic Pen to get its shape. Carefully pull the pen out keeping the foil intact. Bend an end of it so a hole is pointing upwards for loading the weed and lighting. Make sure you don't bend it so much that you block the smoke from getting to your mouth. Pack your weed and enjoy your smoke. Make sure you've got some good munchies and drinks ready so you don't try and drive to the store.

I have a question. I live in California where Medical ********* is totally legal. How much should it cost to get a Medical ********* Card and are there any quick/easy/cheap places you can recommend in the West LA area? There are plenty of weed dispensaries to buy the stuff, even 2 in Westwood Village.

let me restate - I am a relentless advocate for the liberation, inspiration and benefits chemically induced altered state perception has brought to our society.

And yes, I cannot name one artist who produced genius on weed, who was better clean.

but for every genius, i can point to a dozen useless stoners who not only did less than nothing on weed, ****** the high by hiding inside it, rather than exploring it as a window to another - other - universe(s)

OMG Do not put any tobacco in the joint or pipe. That would be like putting a lot of water in your ****. Just remember to light only one end and don't put the lit end in your mouth.
