Vivid Video

I don't know if anybody has preferences when it comes to movie companies, but I for one avoid Vivid like the plague. Most of their top girls look identical (bleach blonde, huge fake tits)... Roboskanks, I like to call them.

The types of movies they make are also horrible... they call it "couples" movies, but it's just crap really. Once in a while they'll get a pornstar who has some nastiness to her (Sunrise Adams is one of their latest victims), and make her boring just like the rest of their contract girls.

I don't know if anyone else has opinions on Vivid, but I'll just say that whenever I hear one of my favs has signed with them, she immediately drops out of my favs list. That how bad I think Vivid is.

Vivid's ok as far as big name stars. I like North's pole series for younger fresher girls and stuff like young as they come.
Sure, i know what yer thinking, "those aren't companies" well my only response to that would be... your right.

I agree with most of your coments towords vived, I started my porn loving life with vived, and came to love girls like Jenteal, Racqual Derran, Taylor Hayes, Devon, Dayton Rains and Malissa Hill.

So of the movie these girls are in are just o.k. if not crap, you can only get on good sex scene if any, and that is just a wast of time.

there are a few good flick of vivid that I do enjoy and own myself, but I found these movies by fluke because every other vivid flick I have watched is just a peace of ****.

Its unfortunit that some of the girls that started therr careers with vivid ended their career with vivid like Racqual Derran and Chasey lain. I'm glad that Devon and Taylor hayes had movied on to other companys

Maxhardcore is pretty intense if you like the rough stuff, young girlies too..

Rosebud and Evil Empire are also quite good...

I'm also a fan of Hustler's Barely Legal... nice young 'uns

This is my first post at FreeOnes......I might as well start here. I couldn't agree more. Vivid sucks. I think that company produced some good movies back in the 80s but today is a different story. Vivid is awful. Compared to the stuff produced by companies like RedLight and Evil Empire, Brianna Banks and Jenna Jamison come off as being outdated and really boring. Asia Carrera is annoying.

It's hard to believe that this is the same company that made Ginger Lynn and Christy Canyon into big stars (and people like myself fans of them for life). How the mighty have fallen.

I think I'm pretty openminded, but I wouldn't call Max Hardcore "intense." In fact, I wouldn't even call it erotic. He crosses the line when it comes to aggressiveness to the point where I'd say he's abusive towards women.

I like Red Light District. Also like Evil Angel (loved the Buttman series). Anabolic is still pretty good, though maybe they've fallen a bit. Once in a while, I don't mind the odd West Coast Production either.

"Barely Legal" is a teen-themed series. The only thing I've heard of that sounds like what you described is the series of flicks they do at borderBangers.com . Never seen any of those vids though.

The video quality of Vivid has sort of sucked for years now, which is bad when you consider the resources they have compared to the average porn producer, but even they are slowly getting better. Still, you would think they would have the video expertise to not shoot grainy movies. They seem to be getting better at having a wider selection of girls, but then again they also seem to be unable to keep them for more than a year anymore. Few people seem to have the star power as the bigger people 10 years ago, and pretty much everybody, not just Vivid, sucks at promoting their people these days. As far as the type of movies they produce, not everybody out there is a raincoater that wants the performers to be as nasty as possible. The vast majority of normal men out there are simple and just want to watch sex with hot women, although they probably don't put as much money in the business at the super fans of the business. It might also help that it really is more acceptable to a lot of their significant others. Look at all the Gonzo companies that were doing ok when this thread started that are either not here anymore, just hanging on, or on their way out. Maybe in the long run their business model wasn't the smart one after all.
