One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist.
The gunpowder plot was a (thwarted) act of terrorism based on religious grounds.
Not all terrorists are/were trying to 'islamify the world' as you put it.
Yes yes one mans freedom fighter is another mans terrorist...Nelson Mandella the biggest terrorist/freedom fight of recent times. Besides the so called "muslim" terrorists you refer to are not muslims in any shape or form, it is completely against the spirit of the religion to kill or harm innocent civillians. Perhaps you should raise this question with the so called real muslims you claim to know and see what their reaction is. I will tell you now they wont wish to be associated with them in any way.
just goes to show how narrowminded some peopel can be. the whole "rligious" element only got added to the terrorist definition VERY RECENTLY ! if you believe in 'freedom fighters' then al qaida, as warped as they are, they are freedom fighters for their own warped brainwashed followers. by saying what you did, you are setting what is morally acceptable and what is not, not what is legal and not. ergo, you are nothing short of a hypocrite. if you are a law abiding citizen, then there is no such thing as freedom fighter. a crime is a crime, regardless of motive or mens rea.
all muslims you see ON THE WESTERN MEDIA are terrorists yes. if you get out of your pretentious warped bubble, you will soon start to appreciate there are different groups of terrorists out there. the reason why muslim extremism is out in the open now, is because of an attack on american soil. had it happened in iran, or malaysia, we would not be having this conversation.
the crux of the matter is that the minute you start arguing morally as opposed to legally, then it is impossible to reach an agreement. i.e all laws are morally correct if you apply the utilitarian angle, however, not all morally right acts are legal, i.e killing, arson in the sake of freedom fighting !
the suffrrejets, martin luthor didnt have to kill people to get 'freedom' I dont know how old you are, but if you are in fact over 18, you really ought to first, think about what you want to say and then research it to see if its right. save your self the embarrasment and us the hassle !

in iraq, and afghanistan more muslim civilians have died by american soldiers than al qaeda have killed. in the middle east, the israelis have salughtered 800 percent more muslims than muslims have killed jews. your assertions are not related to peopel being good or bad muslims, but of a warped definition of the word terrorists. if you actually read any of our posts as oppose to jumping off on your ego and misconceptions you too would appreciate this, alas, some stuff is easier said than done, and people like you prove, how so many of the world have ignorant, warped, bias and high and mighty opinions over others. consequently, people like you fuel our planets ability to marvel in wars and hatred.
They arent considered muslims by more moderate muslims who dont go round blowing the shit out of innocent people, they are simply so by name! Terrorist acts are neither in the spirit of true Islam nor is it prescribed anywhere in the quran as being justified. Suicide is forbidden, so where these notions of Islamic suicide bombers originates from I do not truly know.

I would be of the opinion some so called "moderates" have financed either the mulla guys who incite and indoctrinate the young impressionable muslim men who become so called martyrs or directly provided funding for organizations in its entirety. A great example of this would be Osama himself. Why didnt his family cut him off? I find it highly unrealistic they werent aware of his ideological goals. As for the so called other terrorists many are freedom fighters in the context that they wished to remove foreign opressors. Last time I checked Northern Ireland was part of a little island called Ireland. Anyway thats neither here nor there as they have removed the "Gun" from politics and wish to pursue there goals peacefully. Other groups range from domestic nut jobs to commy basque groups, fascists groups in europe. The latter ones like the muslim terrorists likely dream of worldwide exportation of there franchise but alas it is just that due to support its impossible whereas the muslim terrorists group have a veritable fountain to draw from.
Nope I do not agree that any muslim terrorist group are freedom fighters with the exception of maybe the palestinian groups. They only desire a foreign highly oppressive power removed from there country which is likely impossible though it may take years for them to learn. Instead try and reconcile and pursue beneficial goals on behalf of there people politically. The rest want to literally impose sharian law on the world cause of foolish hardcore grass root beliefs in the literal interpretations of the koran. Yet again a pile of moronic christian groups like that exist too but yet again they do not have the militant grassroot pool of the size that muslim extremist have to draw from.
If there are so many muslim moderates they need to stand up for themshelves and say they have had enough. Just like the majority of decent citizens of both side of the divide in Northern Ireland have done. It is no simple matter but its the best way forward and is dangerous because yes most militant arms of political ideals do border on criminality meaning one of the first things they do is intimidate and extort the shit outta there own populace. I do not personally believe the west can successfully get rid of the problem in the context of global militant islamism.

Sure didnt you know that part of there recruitment process is the whole being surrounded by a ton of virgins in heaven which they get to deflower after becoming a martyr LMFAO. Whole thing is a fucking contradiction but sure all religion is. Wow, the stuff I done did learn on the internut. I had no idea that FARC in Colombia, the Shining Path in Peru and the narco-terrorists in Mexico were Muslims. Golly gee whiz, shazam, shazam. And people is uh using percentages to prove (weak) anecdotals too. I love that: attaching a percentage (pulled out of the rectum) to prove an illogical point makes all the difference in the world.
