USPS on the Verge of Going Broke, Shutting Down

Alrighty, happy fun flame time is over!
Because in my own lapse of judgement I endorsed what is effectively flaming from a new member those who replied and exchanged volleys are now officially warned to knock it off. I could ban, I could infract but lets face it that would make me a hypocrite.
So! Anyone who flames from this point on gets the prison shower treatment!

I just got back from USPS 10 minutes ago and they said there is no way any of them are getting screwed. They did, however, tell me it was that 75 years mandated retirement stipulation in their last contract that is killing them. I didn't get into it further as there was quite a line, but anyway...
So Bloodshot Scott is claiming that 'no one sends any letters or writes letters anymore' and 'everyone should just do all their banking online and pay their bills online.'
Look, I'm really sorry (not) that you are unemployed and back living in mommies basement and even sorrier that she's gonna kick you out in two weeks because of *ahem* that smell. You know the one.
Thing is, the number of people on the planet who have reliable, regular access to a computer, let alone the Interweb is quite small, so your grand scheme to have everyone pay all their bills online is bullshit, not to mention stupid.
Consider: let's say that you Bloodshot Scott have a credit card. Actually you probably just stole your mommies, but whatevas. Let's say you have a MasterCard and one day you decide to go on a spending spree, and end up buying exactly $9653.29 worth of various *things*, much of which would undoubtedly be child porn.
Good for you, let's hope you bought some industrial size jars of Vaseline so you don't jack all the skin off your 1/3" hardon.
Couple weeks go buy and the MasterCard bill comes due to your bank account. Which is REALLY bad, because you don't have anywhere near $9653.29 in said account. More like $9.78. But Mastercard doesn't give a fuck and they will take it all, which means you will be hit with a penalty fee, from your bank as well as a default charge from Mastercard and from the cable company when they try to take out their rightful monthly fee.
Being a hysterically angry moron like you are obviously hasn't gotten you very far in life, and You Might want to try and change that. If the USPS shuts down dramatically then Fedex and UPS won't be able to offer overnight delivery nationwide like ever...they rely on the USPS to assist them in that:eek:
We as paying airflight customers should demand lower ticket prices because we also are subsidizing Fedex and UPS and other shipping companies especially with certain Freight shipments... :hammer: You really don't think that Fedex Jet flies to every airport in the nation do you!!
This is the third time (that I know of) that this guy has been banned. I think his vacation should be permanent.
