Why are we there? If Osama is in Pakistan, we should be in Pakistan. Our mission is to get Osama by any means necessary.
The strategy we need to adopt is to leave. Karzai can control the country now. Hell, he's already learned the first lesson about Democracy (fix the elections).
I would rather spend $1Trillion dollars of our nation's tax dollars on living up to Health/Welfare commitments we make to our Military and providing healthcare for every American citizen.
I don't want to spend $1trilllion dollars taking over and rebuilding Iraq and Afghanistan. It's that simple.
