U.S. Relaxes Opposition To Medical Marijuana

Shame on Bush for opposing the use of marijuana as medicine. I'm glad the Obama Administration isn't doing the same thing as his predecessor and I hope he continues taking the right steps in adressing this matter

Here in the Netherlands we are known for our liberal drug policy.
Mind you that it is still forbidden here to trade it in large quantities. But indeed, when it would be completely legilazed the state can get a lot more control on it.
Most youth in the Netherlands will try it for a few times, in a safe environment, realize it is not so much fun and move on. When it is illegal, not only is it more exciting, but you will also come in contact with a lot of shady people who will persuade you to use more.

At least, that's what I think...

As already stateds in another threadabout Mexico and its drug troubles - the recipe for drying out the drug cartells on a major scale, getting a new, much needed tax income PLUS getting the people to gett sick on dirty dope by testing the stuff that gets officially sold, there is a win, win, win situation.

Wake up, people.

If you want to prevent real drug abuse, ban hard booze, you know how that stuff kills people and makes them act violent and self-destructive.

Tokers get the munchies and smile a lot :)
