Top 5 Greatest Presidents

Lets see, I'd have to say

1. Theodore Roosevelt
2. FDR
3. George Washington
4. Abraham Lincoln
5. Harry S. Truman

I cannot quite figure Truman in any top5 scenario lol. He was kind of a nobody who fell into place when FDR was dying during his 83rd term. Truman did say "ok" to detonating an atomic bomb (which even as V.P. he did not know existed until he assumed the presidency after FDR's death) but I think that pushes him further from the top5.

1. Lincoln
2. FDR
3. Wilson
4. Jefferson
5. John Adams

I remember the spirit of New Yorkers growing up during the Clinton era...it was so much better. I don't think that it was the actual collapse of the towers that changed that. But instead, the fearmongering and war campaign that came afterwards. We shifted our focus from Osama Bin Fucked-up to so called "weapons of mass distruction" that were not ever found.
While many argue that Saddam was a vile dictator and he was, we still have other dictators around, yet we don't make war with them.

Put not your faith in men, but bind them down with the chains of the constitution.
