Too many!

Hey all! :hi:

I don't know if anybody notices, but I want to know if there is something that can be done against/for following:
-Too often lately I see new forum members (I avoid using the term n**bies)
without any input in a thread either complaining about the lack of new posts
or making new threads which already exist...

Don't know what moderators and other members think, but it seems to me a lot of trouble merging threads over and over again
and pointing to existing threads. At least I am getting annoyed with it.
Isn't there a possibility to add some sort of a "read me first" to refer to when things mentioned above happen?
I mean, I've tried being nice and pointing to existing threads, but anyone with at least one brain cell can find and use the "search" option??!!
It also takes the pee out of me when someone with 5 to 10 posts starts complaining about the reposts others do.

Good luck finding nice solutions and keeping the forum clean and nice!

I personally try my damndest NOT to start threads that already exist. But the search function on these Boards...well, my opinions of it are well-publicized. If I start a thread by accident in such a way, then I encourage a merge or close by the mods with my apologies--but with an asterisk.

If you find, at any time, that there are duplicate threads, just PM a mod with:

1. The original or proper thread URL
2. The duplicate(s) URL(s)

Verify the names are correct, verify that they are of the same model, and send it to a mod to merge.

We try and have mods with different model interests/taste, so that we are not all personally active in the same model's threads. (One mod likes big racks, another MILFS, another vids and so on.) We are all active as mods everywhere - I am referring to our personal interests where it is then easy to keep things clean.

I do too. I also find a lot can't be searched because of the titles given to the threads. I mean if someone names something "Hey look at this" and its about Aria of course when someone searches Aria it doesn't come up. grrrrrr

I had always found the at the bottom list of 'similar threads' to be a big help when starting a thread I would look down there. That's only in games now I think.

:dunno:

Yeah, I agree with all above, but it is something I noticed which is especially commonplace with new users who seem not even had made the effort to explore the site/forum. Boo hoo hoo!
