Today one pornstar got tested positive for HIV. Its not known who it is yet, but we most probably gonna see a production break for some time.

Considering it's been 5 years since the last HIV case and considering how much sex goes on in the porn industry, I'd say it looks like they run things pretty well.

A few years ago I saw a colleg of me in this industry making her own test.
She has blanco forms without date in her bag and she was filling that in by herself.

That was for me one of the reason to only use condoms. Or I work with someone I can realy trust. And I think that there must be ONE standard form in the English languages, because when you see the tests in Rusian or other East European languages it's unpossible too see what on it. And I don't want to give them the bad name but for money you can get anything there.

I spoke a few years also about that isseu on the Dutch tv.
Even here in Holland there are so many different of forms... you can't see if the form is official.

I know compagnies who only makes internetcontent the don't need tests.
It's wasted money they say. And ok when you get 150,-/200,-€ for a scene and a test costs 50,-€ it's a simple sum

And now we only talk about HIV.... there are so many other kind of soa's (even deadly) they don't test in Europe. Here they sometimes only ask for a HIV and not for SOA's.
(most of the time it's the performans his or her own responsibility)

And than 1 person in the 5 years I think there are more but that's no one telling us!

Unfortunately we don't see many condom scenes anymore. :dunno: Until the women get together, band together and say they won't film anything without condoms, we're going to see outbreaks.

Wrong, just flat out wrong.

It's not one case, it's 16. as in 16 people in the business who are HIV positive. Shakes head As John Stagliano says in the article, it'd be impossible to regulate the industry, that would just drive it underground.

Just wait. Some California politician is gonna run this shit up the flagpole and try to get a "condoms only" law passed for straight porn and that'll be the end of porn as we know it. No more facials, creampies, ATM's, etc. Many of the genres we love will no longer be legal to produce. And that sucks. But on the brightside, there will still be nasty eastern european and southeast asian porn to look at. You know they aren't going to ruin their porn with whack ass prophylactics.

thinking about being safe and healthy is important especially in porn. Blood tests, HIV and other stds tests should be done by european porn companies.
