Tips. Tipping. Tipper?

What kind of tipper are u? Are u a good tipper? Or are u cheap? Restaurants Strip Clubs. Nail salon. Tattoo Artist. Or Pizza Delivery. Etc.

5%,10%,15%,20%

depending on service, I dont fault the waiter or waitress for bad food or slow bar service

I tip when it is appropriate. I don't need them to go out of their way, just do the job. I tip well. There are few places that need to realize that they are not in the service industry. They are paid a standard hourly wage that is not based on tipping. For example...dunkin doughnuts, pizza joints, dvd rental stores, smoothie bars, sub shops..get real!

I get tipped on occasion. Just got tipped $10 a couple days ago.

I work as a loader at Lowes so I understand what you mean. I don't need to be tipped, but I did wait on them for 2 hours. Wasn't really hard though they knew what they wanted.

The secret ingredient? MY BALLS
I'm an honest tipper. If you deserve a tip and go above and beyond your call of duty, I'll give you a decent tip. But, if you suck, your tip is going to suck right along with you.

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
I rarely, if ever tip below 20%...even for attitude, and **** service. But if you do an outstanding job, I have no problem with upping the ante. I think the best I ever tipped was about 40%, but the waitress worked her ass off, and was really good at her job.

If I get outstanding service, I have no problem tipping generously. If the service is lousy, the tip is going to reflect that. Everyone has bad days, so I generally tip pretty decently either way.

It's good to be the king...
Always tipped...
Some folks in the city of London can be right bastards after a few pints, and I feel real sorry for those having to wait on them...:(

I was always taught that 10% is an acceptable tip. 15% if the service was really good. I've been called a cheap bastard for that, but, the way I see it, they're doing their job and are already getting paid for it. Yeah, it's not the greatest pay in the world, but that's what the job pays. For them to get a tip from me is an extra to their wages. If I get shitty service I leave 1 cent. I think if you don't leave a tip it can be perceived as maybe you forgot, but leaving a penny says that the service was ****.

2 weeks ago I went to a Chinese restaurant with a couple friends. The bill was something like $27.15, and we were short on cash, so we just gave the woman $30 bucks and told her to keep the change. She squawked something about "Oh, great tip, almost a whole $3 dollars." You know what, bitch? I'm not obligated to leave you a tip. If "almost a whole $3 dollars" isn't good enough for you, fuck you, give me my money back.

For good service, 20%.

For shitty service 15%.

Pizze delivery, depending on whats being delivered, $2-$5

Never below 15%. I've worked in a restaurant too long to tip below that. If you're a good server, expect a 40%-50% tip.

Cult ****** and Simpering Cunt
When I'm in the states, it really depends on the service. Shitty service, there is no tip. Ok service, about 10%, great service 20% or more.

Abroad, I generally tip when I receive fantastic service.

Where I live currently, I rarely tip since wait staff have no concept of what good service is. Hell, sometimes I wonder if there's even a concept for "customer service" here.

I tip well, regardless of service because I usually regular the same restaurants/pubs/bars. If they serve me bad regularly, that tip will decline each time. I like to believe the servers remember good tippers and go out of their way to serve them.

I'm British so my response would be... "What is this 'tipping' to which you refer"

seriously
- Waiters
- Taxi drivers
- Barbers (when I had hair)
- Seasonally, binmen, paperboys
