I will say this about it, but please don't take it as my defense of Merriman or any other football player for that matter.
You train these men from a very young age to be animalistic athletes. Can you honestly expect them to be normal God-fearing citizens when they're not on the field. The majority of them are able to keep their emotions in check, but I don't see these problems as a huge surprise. Dispicable, but not surprising.

I used to love Tila Nguyen, before she became "T!la Tequila".
