What is this for bullshit threat? Brazil deserved to lose and they played boring too. Just like 4 years ago.
The quarter finals and Ital-Germany has all been pretty boring matches. At least the refs were good in these games.
Best teams to watch were Argentina, Spain, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Australia.
They played boring 4 years ago? Is that a joke?
Anyways, yes brazil did not play well, infact they stunk.
I think the biggest problem was with the manager parreira. He did not allow them to play the brazilian way, he was afraid to bench his star players and he seemed only concerned with the technical and tactical aspects of the game. Look at the Japan game for instance, the likes of cicinho, gilberto, juninho and robinho started. What did we see? The free flowing, creative football in what could have easily been a 7-1 scoreline, basically the type of football everyone expected from them, the type of football that has got them 5 world cup crowns.
Yet parreira decided to turn a blind eye and stick with his original starting 11, the same 11 that was slow, lazy and incompetent. Im not saying he was the sole reason but it was a big factor.
Im a big brazil fan but in the end i wasnt dissappointed. They didnt deserve to go any further with the kind of football they were playing.
Aslong as parreira doesnt come back in 4 years, there shouldnt be much to worry about for brazilian fans.
Heres to a france win. I just cant stand italy.
