I´m disappointed. The thread title led me to believe that he was upset because they let male pornstars be in the competition. That would be totally awesome, by the way. No, it wouldn't. Of all of the previous winners, only Vicky Vette ever posted/posts ...

Not one of the other winners have joined the board and become regular posters.
Miss Hybrid won because she put a lot of work in year round and over the 4 years that she has been around (5 competitions) she has boosted her popularity with the board members by being continuously active here.
The reason that the board members had more voting power this year than previous years is that we members have been bitching that our OCSMs do not get a chance over the stars signed by the big companies. This year we won it (by a mere 6 votes) - yes, I said we, and by that I mean the board members, so that this year we have a true Miss FreeOnes, someone who actually represents the brand and not someone that usually has nothing to do with the board.
This competition now gives a chance for previously little known models to make a bigger name for themselves in the industry and possibly even make a reasonable living from it without having to kowtow to the industry giants. How can this be a bad thing when one company is looking to make the entire industry a monopoly?
Look at the Twisty's competition this year and the massive controversy over 2nd place. This year FreeOnes ran a clean competition and the fact that an industry outsider won instead of a corporate name is proof of this.
I take my hat off to FreeOnes especially Petra and the team.
This win was not just a win for Miss Hybrid, it was a win for all of the independents out there trying to make it and FreeOnes really should make the most of this and not just let it slip by without a mention in the industry media.

Wow.

The idea of increased voting power to active members on the forum was the best wrinkle put into the process. Mr Stiffy posted in a pre thread that FOs is not the forum section and is right, but this system rewards us and I felt that Miss FOs should heavily weigh on active OCSM that take time out to react with their fans.

Second, last year winner Christy Mack has posted on the board, but ever since winning has not been on. Taking nothing from her, but the right model won.

Just deal with it or better yet start a poll on talk on who you think in your world is the best.

What is actual definition of Miss Freeones anyways? I understood that title Miss Freeones was supposedly open for everyone automatically, not meant only for ones who post on forums as how people seems to be referring. People talk about forum activity, but isn't that what for the best OCSM -category exists? Description here is pretty clear, don't you think?

I wanted to vote Briana Lee for the best OCSM, but voting her in that category seemed pretty pointless due voting system. I wanted to vote for the best, but if I cannot vote for the best, then that's called voting for the least bad from whatever is left...

Ya know, I wish she was my girlfriend, so I would be justified in slapping the shit out of you. As it stands, she is just a very dedicated, and sweet young lady, that worked very hard to build a loyal following...including me, but since I have a wife, and she has told me I am definitely not allowed to have a girlfriend, I can't react in the way I would like to...which would be, to bitch slap the stupid out of your mouth.
