When I was at Penn State, Joe Pa was talking to my instructor while I was playing racquetball. At the time I was 18 years old, young and cockey. I thought I could beat everybody and I started showing off when I saw Joe Pa behind the glass. Joe Pa stopped me and asked me if I thought I was good enough to play for the Penn State racquetball team. Of course I said yes. He then told me if I could beat Matt, he would put me on the team. I thought I had a spot locked up but then Matt walked in. It was Matt Barr (could've been Chris), former professional footbal kicker. He proceeded to beat me 15 to 1. My lesson from Joe Pa...there is always somebody better no matter how good you are. I was proud of the 1 point I got though.
