because i like to demonstrate to anyone reading this, potentially yourself, that i am right. but you don't seem to be the type to actually discuss things, so i've pretty much given up on you and sputniky. but legzman seems to be entertained and might actually be learning something about baudrillard and the fine art of proving someone else is an asshole.

well, there's no evidence to the contrary, so my belief is rational. i joined the forum because i saw some non-porn topics and thought maybe there could be some decent discussion about serious things. obviously i miscalculated with baudrillard. apparently he is either too radical, complicated or hated for anyone to sensibly respond to the article.

For someone trying desperately to sound smarter than everyone else, I would of thought you'd learn to use capital letters at the begining of your sentences.
i'm not trying to sound smarter then others. i tried posting a serious article and got basically nothing in response. maybe you feel inferior to others and assume they are trying to sound "smart." capital letters? give me a break. what kind of grammar nazi shit is this i have to hear about now. man, between rhino design, complaining about post-spamming, not separating quotes, not capitalizing letters, and not responding to baudrillard....you people really have your priorities straight.

yeah, sure. you go ahead and believe that. if i thought it was automatically right just because i copied and pasted it, why would i be eager to hear replies that i could potentially debate? hey, it's up to you and everyone else whether you want to show you aren't superficial. so far, i can't come to any other reasonable conclusion then this forum is predominately superficial quasi-addiction, and the few somewhat seroius things people talk about primarily have to do with presidential elections and other assorted random phenomenon like a discovery of a mummy or some shit. i posted what i consider a very serious article and no one had anything to say, let alone actually read the article. you posted a weak, half-assed critique from wikipedia and subsequently have not responded to anything of substance either in the article or that i have typed in response to your critique. but i forgot, you "stated your opinion" already, so i guess the case is closed since you cite wikipedia.
and i have posted on philosophy forums in the past, and music forums, and whatever other forums i feel like. i'm interested in what anyone has to say regardless of what their primary interest is, ie. porn, etc.
and just for the record, i will not be posting on this forum anymore. i will continue to address any further nonsense in this particular thread or if anyone by random chance happens to actually address the article, i will deal with that aswell. other than that, this is spud crowley signing off. :1orglaugh
