The Problem With Burger King Is...

Lust

Lost at Birth
actually i think you've touched on to something about salt on the fries, seems like anywhere i go now they arent putting salt on the fries. is there some kind of policy change, health movement, or salt shortage going on?

as far as mac donalads and burger king i dont like either one. In & Out burger is close to my house so if i have a fry craving thats usually where i go. there's a place in texas that had awesome fries and burgers called Wattaburger i think, wish they'd expand. Jagger may know the place i'm talkin bout.

Disparaging remarks made against The King of Burgers will be dealt with in the most sever way possible.

You will leave me no choice but to enact Godwin's Law and I'm sure none of you want that.

Naw. Wendy's sux too. They always get your order wrong. One time I was at the Wendy's drive-thru. I ordered a single with cheese and a Frosty. They gave me a Pop-Tart and a lug nut. At least Burger King gives you one of those funny crowns to wear. Oh...they stopped doing that? But there's plenty of them hats at the sanitarium!

Well, dear people, I'd say that depends entirely on where you're from. :D
I have never heard of a "grilled chicken sandwich" at Burger King (I guess the fellow user is from the US and was talking about the "tendergrill chicken sandwich"). We don't have that. We have the Grilled Cheese Tendercrisp for example.
Where I'm from, if you want some "good" fast food, you go to Burger King. You'll get a fresh burger, salted and still warm fries and a friendly service. If you want cold, unsalted fries, cardboard-like burgers (which mostly are also cold) and an always annoyed and sometimes unbelievable unfriendly service, who get's almost every order wrong (because the restaurant only employs immigrants for below minimum wages that hardly speak the language), you go to McDonalds.

I think this all depends on which restaurant you go to. Some of you are making it sound like every single Burger King in the world doesn't put enough salt on their fries. :rollseyes:What you mean is, the Burger King you go to doesn't put enough salt on their fries. What are they supposed to do, make individual batches of fries for every single customer? That's why they have salt packets. But nooooooooooo. Damn you Burger King. Daaaaaamn youuuuu.

First off, their french fries usually don't have anywhere near enough salt on them. Their burgers are usually cold and half the time the drinks are flat. I complain about this to the employees but they just smirk and remind me they're only getting paid minimum wage, and what do they care. This usually enrages me and I yell, "GET THE FUCKING KING OUT HERE RIGHT NOW!!!!" Which usually follows by an awkward silence. They say, "you know its just a commercial right?" As I storm out of there with my cold half eaten burger and saltless fries, I remind them I'm going to sue because that's false advertisement. This only happens about twice a week now, I think I'm finally getting better. Maybe its time to switch to Wendy's, I bet she treats her customers better than that fascist moderate NeoCon King.

Sounds to me like they see you coming in twice a week and wipe the salt off the fries and put a couple burgers on ice before serving you...they get to watch you blow up over it --- comedy central in BK twice a week for lunch, no extra charge

its all poison!

Pretty much agree with this. All fast food joints are purveyors of "food" that is certifiably laden with fat, cholesterol, calories, sugar and salt. I try to avoid them completely but it is really difficult when you are driving down the street in any city in the USA and the signs for these places are literally everywhere.

Subway is one place that at least you can get something that is not loaded with the shit I listed above....if you choose the right sandwich that is.

I don't eat there often but they have some good burgers... Their fries are good, maybe because I'm not into salty stuff... As for the drinks, they taste the same to me.

Whopper is the only thing I go there for. Fries are better at Wendy's and McDonalds, Culvers is the place to go for great onion rings, and Five Guys is where I go when I want to enjoy a great burger. The whopper is merely b-roll shots in my adventures of eating.

Yes, Wattaburger is pretty good. I didn't realize that we Texans only had them until now.

BK is the best , you probably just go to a shitty one Ive never had any problems with it , now McD's is shit & I stopped goin there because of the same problems you say you find with BK

The problem with the Burger King here where I live is that they are slooooooooooowwww. Get there at 6 a.m. to order lunch and noon to order dinner. And then it's cold.
