Oh, hello. i didn't see you there..why don't you come in, take a seat. Would you like some cocoa? I hope you like marshmellows. Oh, you don't? Well, I'll just leave them out.
So, for those who still don't know me, I'm Jaana Ruutu. I'm a pretty odd cam girl. No make-up, no Photoshop(I barely even know how to use MS Paint), no agent, no..nothing, really. All of my "success"(lolo listen to all of the fucking ego) I've ever had is due to my hard work, and only my hard work. This fact becomes more interesting when you take into account my rare visual impairment(Autosomal Congenital Cataracts, less than 1,000 people in the world had it when I was born. I'm not sure what today's figure are) that leaves me with 4% of 20/20 vision, and eyes that move without my control. Even with this annoying piece of shit of a condition, I still get up every morning and kick the day in the balls. I cam on multiple websites, I shoot and edit my own clips, I do house work, AND i take care of a loved one who recently had a severe mental breakdown and is having a nearly impossible time getting back to normal. When i was 20 I moved to Finland all by myself, as a blind person. I also traveled to Canada all by myself, know how to hunt, cook, and play a plethora of instruments, AND am a master at geography. I pride myself in being well-rounded, independent, and fearless, and I really hope you all see it.
Why does winning Best Newcomer matter so much?
1. From about March of last year until September I had a bit of a camming slump and was bringing in next to nothing. Add that to having to make sure my loved one eats, showers, and doesn't do anything stupid, and you have a recipe for debt. I have a lot - and I want to get rid of it so my life can become a little more calm. The €100 per month I'd save by paying it off would do so much - buy more groceries, let me actually go out sometimes, maybe even get me a couch that isn't falling apart.
2. I can't even tell you the kind of shit i got from people when i decided to get into this business. i lost a lot of friends - and I mean a lot. People constantly told me I wasn't pretty enough, that people would never be able to get over my eyes, that nobody would EVER find me attractive enough to really be a big name in the cam world - and I think winning Best newcomer would be the biggest and best FUCK YOU I could ever give to any of them.
3. When's the last time you even saw a blind person OR a Finn in one of these things? So maybe I was born in 'Murika, but i'm just as Finnish as anyone, and I'd love to show people that Finnish girls are indeed quite awesome.
4. I know a guy whose last name is Newcomer, and it would be kind of awesome to rub it in his face that I'M the BEST Newcomer, and he isn't.
5. Most importantly, I don't plan on going anywhere. I love Freeones, and I love my job. I'm not going to stop posting here once the contest ends and I'm certainly not going to stop adding stuff to my Freeones page and my Freeones personal store, or any of my other websites. I plan to be around for a while, and winning would help me do that.
I'd also like to mention that you should vote for Maggie Green, Lucy O'Hara, Harley Spencer, or Lolita Borgia in their various categories with your various votes. WE'RE A FAMILY HERE, DAMMIT, and these ladies have been awesome to me since I joined.
