You need to let the others know you won't back down in a fight

I agree. But Leclerc would need to be on the inside. Whoever is on the outside usually comes out the loser. He showed in Monaco that he has race craft and aggression. I'm hoping that he'll get a chance to demonstrate that against Verstappen this season.

Silverstone. Possibly my favevorite GP of themn all. Qualifying prioved us all right:

IF there is a Ferrari up for grabbing a place on the podium, it is the newcomer.

And Bottas shows another great performance, too.

The full race video isn't out, yet, but we can see how Vettel fucked up THIS time.

His streak just won't end.

Best race of the season so far. Good to see some dueling between Lewis and Valteri and just then also Charles and Max. Shame Seb ruined Max' race, another in an ever growing list of mistakes by him.

Wasn't it though?! I had to avoid news sites because I had to watch it a few days later on DVR. I was amazed at all the action and the surprises that the safety car caused. Seems that Lewis had secretly(?) decided on an alternate strategy and probably would have pipped Bottas anyway - though the safety car drove the nail in poor Bottas' coffin. I can't believe that he made those hard tires last and even recorded the fastest lap with that worn out rubber.

As for Vettel, what can a person say that hasn't already been said? It's like a bad joke at this point. He's had more screw ups over the past two seasons than Pastor Maldonado. IMO, if he doesn't snap back by the next race, and especially if he makes another mistake, he's pretty much done for at Ferrari.

Speaking of people on their way out, what do you guys think about Grosjean? I'm almost certain that Haas won't bring him back next season. But do you all think that they'll dump him mid-season? I'm thinking that he won't return to Haas after the summer break.

Can I apply for a job at Ferrari? I don't have relevant experience but I'll work for less and can't possibly make more mistakes than they are at the moment.

It is hard to believe that Ferrari is the same team that had so many championships in the past. They are making so many bad decisions and handle their cars and pilots so bad, it is a joke

So now, we will prolly see Hamilton battle it out with Verstappen, with Bottas in the mix.

Looks like a wet race today - may give the reds a chance, but Lewis and Max are pretty good in the wet. Seb not so great. Lets see how Charles copes.

There will be a lot of Bloopers and Fail-video material this evening :)

Well, that did not go as expected.
Lewis penalty was a little harsh given where he had to get back into the pits from and the huge amount of time needed to get him back on the road.
I take my hat off to Seb - Last to 2nd, good solid drive and congrats to Max. Good win.

Given Red Bull tends to be stronger at the end of the year, is Verstappen a title contender now?

I am not so sure about that. Red Bull, namely Veerstappen will probably end up further up the ladder, but they are not yet in the range of true title contenders

Just one week in between races, next up is the Hungaroring.

After watching this clip, I would advise Kubica not only to improve his driving skills, he should work on getting fluent in english, too, for chrissakes

He could be... if Lewis retires during the summer break.

:D

Well, congrats to Verstappen: 100th different pole winner in F1 history (if Sky is correct).

I expected Red Bull to be strong here, but not THAT strong.
