From a Buckeye fan. Carson's comments dont bother me at all. He SHOULS hate OSU...he's a trojan. Back when he won the heisman USC fans felt that they were the best team in the country (even though they had two losses) But they were not in the championship game because it was OSU vs Miami. So he's still bitter about that.

Speilman did not become a Michigan fan when he played in Detroit, Chris Carter did not start rooting for the Golden Gophers, AJ Hawk is not a Bager fan....etc

"First, I find it incredibly convenient that Palmer chose to spout off on an LA radio show, as opposed to one in Cincinnati. You know, the town in which his team resides? Given that Palmer has, what, one winning season in the state of Ohio, you would think that he would have a little more of an understanding of the way things work in Columbus"

Not good fodder who guy plays in Ohio! I understand having a love for USC, but look who butters his bread- The State of Ohio, quite allot of OSU fan there.. Lucky he has only 1 OSU alum on the team as well...

The University of Southern California will be National Champions this season. Led by Rey "The Monster" Mauluaga --MLB--The USC Trojans will roll through the schedule and make Ohio State, Notre Dame, Cal, ucla, Stanford (80-0 shutout loss), and UDub cry for mercy and for their collective mommas. It will be a nasty year to take on SC. This is the year to pull an SEC team and beg off a tough opponent's schedule if your team has SC on the calendar.

I think it will be USC vs Florida for the Title.

I think Fat Boy Domer Weis will be fired by mid October and sued by Notre Dame for fraud.

How old is that info? Lol the best thing they can say about Michigan is that Terrelle Pryor could make the Wolverines competitive.........Sorry Ann Arbor

Is there any Oregon fans out there? If so, how good is this QB replacing Dixon? (I didn't see any Duck games after Dixon went down)

Yeah. It was made after the end of last season I guess. TP is in Columbus, and that's old news. Can't find one more recent though.

Will Ohio State make it back to another National Championship game only to get their ass desrtoyed by yet another SEC team!!!:rofl:

The Buckeyes should be commended for making it to the championship game, instead of ridiculed. They were picked to be no better than 4th in a crappy Big 10.

Going into last year, the Buckeyes lost starting QB, 2 receivers, RB and most of the O line. They way over achieved just to be in New Orleans.

Teams that deserve ridicule last year:

1. Michigan Wolverines: UM was picked to win the Big 10 and compete for National Championship. Senior leadership from QB Chad Henne WR Mario Manningham and RB Mike Hart was to provide the leadership to boost them over the top after going 11-0 before losing the year before.
Appalachia St.
Got destroyed by Oregon at home 39-7, also lose to Wisconsin and Ohio State.

2. West Virginia: Undefeated, all they have to do is beat a horrible Pitt team at home to go to the National Championship game. Even w/the help of the officials they loose.

3. Notre Dame: 3-9 Wow and you fired Tyron Willingham? Lose to Navy AND the Air Force Academy.

4. USC: Many people picked to win the National Championship last year. Loss to Stanford did them in…..the same Stanford team that beat Notre Dame.

With all that said….its kind of hard for us Buckeye fans to talk much smack back to the SEC. Hell, when I go to Florida from Ohio I go I-77 instead of I-75 just because I would rather go through ACC country than right through the middle of the SEC!

yea thats right you better be scared when you come down sec country.. lol.. I understand what your saying but ohio state didnt deserve to be in the championship game against LSU. Georgia should have been playing them. Ohio state always gets the championship game handed to them.

Oh I still think OSU deserved to be there. I was saying that they over achieved to be there.

The dogs are definitely loaded this year, but last year if a team doesn't even play for the conference championship let alone win it, how can they argue to be in the National Championship? Also: Nobody that looses 35-14 during the season should be in the National Championship game.

We won't be talking much about Ohio State this season...after they get mauled in the Coliseum.

It will be a bloodbath. SC 38 OSU 6

Yea USC will run over them. That will end their season. I like USC and Florida in the natl' championship. Very early prediction.

It's between Nate Costa and Justin Roper. Roper played well in the Sun Bowl, but Costa is a better fit for the spread. (although he's no Dixon) If we get solid play from the position, I see a 10-2 or 9-3 season.

That's wishful thinking, that spread.
