The Joke of Nascar..

There are a series of channels you can get on canadian sattelite that are the in car cameras that are in some of the cars, which is great because all you hear is what is being said between the driver and his pit crew, and when the "live" feed that is broadcast to normal viewers, or those that are watching the race through NBC/Fow/whatever, goes to commercial, it shows the race without commentary.

Yeh, they used to have that for free on NASCAR.com. But I think it now costs money.
But I saw it for one race and it was VERY refreshing to me.

Thanks for the tip though.

want to see real racing?its all in australia :)

the best race in the world is on today, and thats BATHURST

and all i gotta say is GO THE FORDS :) :)

Really all it comes down to is preference. Some people like NASCAR over IRA, while others are the opposite. Hell, some people prefer World of Outlaw dirt racing to all other racing, while others are all for Late Model dirt racing. It really is just a matter of preference in the end.

Why watch car racing when you can sit by your local interstate and watch cars all day.

When I was a boy I would car watch all day from an expressway overpass. NASCAR may not be my favorite form of racing, but I would rather watch NASCARs drive in a circle all day than watch 99% of other broadcasts.

i was at a ice ovel Ski-Doo race on the weekend and that was some of the best racing i have ever seen but most people dont even know it exists
buy the war the winner in the top class was Jaques Villeneuve the uncle of the other Jaques and brother of Jills Villeneuve

I think it has a lot to do with the fact that NASCAR is much less physically demanding on the driver than open wheel racing because of the much slower speeds, less G force and smoother suspension systems. Not to mention that NASCAR has power steering and IRL cars do not.Taking all this into account,a driver can substantially prolong His or Her career by switching to the easier form of racing that NASCAR offers.(Not to suggest that NASCAR does not require skills)--But for the most part,Indy or Formula 1 drivers are much younger drivers and considered an old man at the age of 35,while NASCAR drivers race well into their late 40's and 50's.-Dale Jarrett-50,Ricky Rudd-50,Ward Burton-45,Mark Martin-48,etc.etc.

lol... so then danica should have no problem winning every race she runs then huh? dario franchitti couldnt even consistently qualify for NASCAR races and gets fired and goes back to indy cars and wins the championship.....nuff said:nanner::nanner:
