The I Told You So Obama Will Fuck Up Thread

Well you happy people that voted for Obama, make sure it last because as soon as he starts fucking shit up, I will be there to tell you I told you so, don't want to hear your bitchin and get over it you got what you deserve. (A ranting/piss off independent).:mad:

Are you insane? I was born in the US and have lived most of my life in Australia. Bush's presidency destroyed my faith in the US and in Democracy.

The US and world economies are so fucked up right now that I cannot believe you are saying "as soon as he starts fucking shit up"...LOL! And the Republicans are any better? Bullshit!

The US needs proper healthcare like Australia, Canada, France, Norway and the UK and you need to stop pouring billions of dollars into getting people killed.

Barak Obama is the best thing to happen to the US in years. The fact so many Americans have come out and voted the Republicans out has made the WORLD breath a huge sigh of relief. Having Bush in power was like having a loaded gun held to the rest of the world. Maybe you didn't see that living in the US but trust me on this. People will like America better for having Obama as president.

Oh and by the way I vote Liberal in Australia (which is the equivalent of Republican in the US).

You Obama hecklers are classless!
YOU LOST FAIR AND SQUARE, SO WHO CAN YOU BLAME?

I'm not happy about this election. It was a racist election IMO. If Obama was white he would've lost, no one can argue that. He was only voted in because a bunch of African Americans finally stopped shooting each other over drug money and decided to vote today. That's the part that angers me the most. way over half of the people who voted for Obama didn't know what he stood for or was talking about.

And McCains last speech was good. He said it was his failure, but in fact it was America's failure that he lost! Our system is so backwards now Democracy just sucks.

Umm, I CAN. White people outnumber black people in this country, so if it was truly a "racist election" and "Obama was white", he still would've won.

Moron.

The biggest problem I see with Obama is the fact that he is raising taxes. If he was truely pro-human, anti-bush, he would push to abolish taxes completely.

Cuz taxes pay for the money you have in your pocket, which never existed in the first place, and is about as counterfeit as counterfeit money.

The reality is that it doesn't really matter who is elected president. The president only has so much power.

With legislation, he can only sign it or veto it. The real power for change comes from congress, and it people are not happy with what congress does, every two America has the power to elect new representation.

I don't think both houses of congress and the presidency being controlled by one party is a good thing - whether that be republican or democrat.

So it is likely, unless things go really well, we will see some changes in congress in two years.

The one thing I think was a positive about Obama and McCain is that they were willing to work with the opposition to get things done. I think it is very likely we will see Republican like Colan Powell as Secretary of State, again. We may even Warren Buffet as a cabinet member in Obama's administration, and I think it is very likely that John McCain will be working with Obama and Biden on key pieces of legislation.

I'm not a big fan of the two party system. If the founding fathers were alive today, many of them would not be pleased with it. With the two party system, I think we would be better served with more independents and third party candidates, like the Libertarians and the Greens winning more office.

Balance is key ... to much a good things is a really bad thing.

To the thousands of people celebrating at Obama events tonight, don't you have to get home to be ready for work tomorrow?

Oh that's right, Obama is going to take money from the rich and give it to you lazy asses.

Well, I'm off to bed for tonight because I work for my money. Goodnight.

Neither Obama or McCain have the power as president to raise or lower taxes. They can only sign or veto the spending bills from congress.

The Libertarian part of me has many issues with taxes and the way government spending has grown out of control.

Mitt Romney in 4 years. He should've gotten the GOP nomination over McCain anyways. He's the one who should be in office to deal with the economic issues.

I was for Ron Paul myself, but he'll be too old to be presidnet in 4 years. I do think that Ron Paul could be an effective Speaker of the House.

I don't think we've ever had a president who DIDN'T fuck up at least once.

Isn't that the truth!! But, I don't think we've had a president fuck up as many times, with such catastrophic consequences as Dubya has.

My lazy ass? I'll be glad to not suppliment the mega incomes and tax breaks of big business. don't you realize you've been doing that all your working life?

Get a good night's sleep and remember you work until about May 15th, to suppliment those tax breaks the poor but hard working folks at Exxon get annually, and to pay the military contracts going to Halliburton. Must be nice to be rich but I personally can't afford that. :dunno:

I proudly served in the US Army, earning my money by protecting your ass son. Oh and here's the kicker, I'm rejoining the Army in January, so I hope you have some respect for the service men and women of America, and if you say we're lazy, get the fuck out of my country.

Ok, don't make it personal like the ass I take it you are. I said my mind, live with it.I'm living with the fact a guy who has potential to ruin the country has been put in office. And please inform me of how many 'pale' people you see celebrating Obama's win on the live feeds from the news while you're at it. I bet it's not many.

That aside, at least Obama isn't clinically retarded like Bush. That's gotta be a plus no matter how fucked up his policies are.

Wow man, I had to reply to this one.

Thank you for your service and I certainly don't doubt your commitment. Furthermore, I never called you lazy!

I call those lazy that don't work for their money but expect the government to take care of them by taxing those that do work for their money. I simply can't support spreading the wealth.
