Wasn't the bailout package written during the Bushie Era?
The 1st part of it was. And I completely disagree with it as well. I have never claimed that TARP was a good idea. That was fuck up that Bush did, never said it wasn't.

Pelosi is not a part of Obama's administration....but don't ever let the facts get in the way of a good lie.![]()

Young students, the poor, the teachers, ghetto people, alot of people who have families in the south american countries voted for him to win, so it is not everyone who wanted Obama to win but mostly the poor and the not so fiscally advantaged social classes.
Well the evidence is against you on this one. Not only were many of these financial institutions saved as a result of TARP they are now profitable enough to begin repaying it in less than a year. With respect to the financial institutions, it absolutely worked for protecting them against failing.
When other business sectors make a come back at least the country's financial backbone will be in place to help support them.
52% of voters earning $200,000 or more per year voted for him, despite the fact he made it abundantly clear those earning 250K or more were slated for a tax increase.

Mind if I ask where you got these numbers?

When you grew up in a poor hood, you will vote for someone who has lived in the hood or who has lived in the hood while being tight on money. Are the students, the poor, the teachers, ghetto people, alot of people who have families in the south american countries voted for him to win representing the whole population of the USA??? Not as far as I know. What may be good for them may not be good for the others. His program was mostly based on a marketing image and the so called change isn't a change but just making things worse than they were. Trying to implement social security and assisting people socially is completely unamerican, you must be a bloody socialist to want that. Socialism has no place in USA and the OBAMA administration needs to get a massive ass kicking.
do a google search for "2008 presidential election" and "by income" and/or "demographic breakdown" . You'll find plenty of sources, including historycentral.com
I'm sorry this is just wrong. Without bothering to look at any numbers look at the electoral map of the USA from the last presidential election. Note which states are blue and which states are red. Now apart from the glaring fact that the red states do a handy job of covering most of the confederacy - make of that what you will - would you then say that the states that went against Obama were noted for being the more affluent.

What is your point? Is there a point...?
Red States...do you really have the naive view that everyone in a Red State voted Republican, and everyone in a Blue State voted Dem?
What does that insinuate..."make of that what you will"...Southern states are racist, or poor, or just beneath the wonderful smart well-off Blue State voters? You are really an elitist, or a wanna-be at any rate.
Was there a real point to that post, or were you just sniping for some personal need to feel "above" someone?
There aren't supposed to be any "classes" here when it comes to voting, laws, and government services.
Your attitude seems to indicate there is a class structure that has some kind of relevance to how the election went...
Just a question, why do people think that worker's unions are creatures from the most vile, infected pimple on satan's arse?
And what is the problem with the US having a sensible healthcare system akin to most other western nations?
